For our photography unit at college, we had a go in the studio... Although we didn't have long which was a bit of a bum.
When I first saw this magnets, I immediately loved its design. I finally got chance to take a photo of this last weekend.

I just looked this word up in the dictionary, and there was a picture of my son!

Our 13 month old cat jumped into the artificial Xmas tree thinking he was going to catch some prey! LOL
Tuy saw me taking photographs of him from far. He then did a very mischievous act : he started peeing! And I kept snapping :p
This is my son playing in his playroom. It is fun and challanging to capture various impressions of kids. A fraction of a second make the difference. When photographing kids, timing is everything.
Indian style monkey mask from a production of the Jungle Book at our local children's theater. My son was one of the monkeys....how appropriate.
When I took out this roll of film from my newest Holga (Hedwig), I found to my dismay that the film was wound extremely loosely on the reel. I knew that some of the shots were lost but figured I'd hope for the best. Actually, I really like the light leaks that I got in this shot of some boats along the shore of Monroe Harbor. I like how you can see the letters from the paper backing on the image. A nice mistake.
Olive Baboon at Amboseli National Park. Unlike monkeys, baboons do not have prehensile tails but they climb trees to sleep, eat, or look out for trouble. They spend much of their time on the ground and use at least ten different and unique vocalizations to communicate with other members of the troop.
A friend once told me, that practicing your photograhping skills with a cellphone camera, can still help you improve, and today I was in the right mood.
So I took Charlotte and used her as model.
I'm fairly happy with the pictures, but I wish I was better at editing them.
The title is a perfect description for Charlotte. She has always been a troublemaker, but somehow managed to charm her way out.
