The macro Monday day theme is reflections. This was one possibility but probably will not be my posting
ANSH scavenger5 reflected
I hope I got this right..
for #SmileonSaturday…
The glass in this candleholder both lets the light shine thru in some places and seems to mirror what is outside in other spots. There is a context picture in the photostream….
Btw, I can’t access the gallery of possibilities and ideas from my phone’s Flickr app…… sigh

A mirror studded with semi precious stones, gifted by one of my best friends and I'm so sad that she's no more. This is of great sentimental value to me.
The Sky Mirror outside the Nottingham Playhouse. If you look closely, Tyson and myself are centered.
Mirror, mirror on the lake. You're the fairest, my breath you take.

The reflection of the Castelo de Almourol at the end a clear Autunm day. The history of this castle (built on a small island) goes back to roman times but it was here that the in the 12th century the Grand Master of the Temple Order rebuilt it as one of the defense castles for the battles with the Moors - in its towers we can still the " templar sign" (this is actually known for being a "Templar region") and its associated to a series of castles and convents; it was inhabited until 1600, today is a National Monument. All the towers still stand (even if it suffered from the great earthquake of the 18th century) and the water which separates the castle from land (once for defense now so lovely to see) ...all that is really a wonderful sight. Enjoy!

Silence Mirrored
In the morning fog, as the Korana retreats into its pale white layers, this old tree stands as a keeper of silence.
Its branches dissolve into the river’s soft breath, and the whole world slows down — just enough for your thoughts to return to you.
In its reflection, like a quiet fracture in time, everything feels softer and closer.
On the stone edge, a fisherman tends his rod gently, as if listening to the river itself.
Fog often teaches us more than sunlight: beauty doesn’t shout… it waits.

Clouds reflected in my eyes
Filled with love , that will fall
On my heart, when you call
Up to the skies, where you see
Clouds in mirror, filled with love from me

We passed this spot several times while traveling back and forth on the main road in and out of Pemaquid Point in Maine. Each time it was full of people swimming. On this particular time it was a Monday evening late in the day (about an hour before sunset, and it was clear ... and smooth as glass. Pulled over for a couple quick snaps.
A nice roadside bit of paradise that can be found in America if you drive slow enough to stop in time :))
... and if Ms. Krach says it is okay to stop again and snap a couple quick shots.

The Seals pond has a below water level darkened room with displays of coral lit up by lights. These sculptures ( not real) are mirrored on the ceiling of the room. So I have mirrored the mirroring! HMMM:)) Melbourne Zoo.
