Because of the title of this model: "R-DECO" by Miyuki Kawamura, I decided to do mirror-art, so you see the two different sides in one photo. It's a real SOOC.
It's folded from 6 rectangle pieces, 7,5x15cm. The modules are easy and for the assembling thicker paper is recommended, so I used Freudenberger paper.

Walking along life's path.
Finding new places seeing
into the world.
Looking into the forest as
if it were conquerable.
Walking along life's path.
Seeing truth and life in this world.
Nature itself being unconquerable.
Walking along life's path.
Seeking to see the true design in our world.
Knowing only life is conquerable.
Walking along life's path.

#macromondays #reflections
I decided to share this image for the upcoming #macromondays theme called #reflections
This time i wanted to go even smaller than as usual - so therefore size of the shells is quite tiny. The one in the center measures 13mm and the ones outside only 7mm !!
Reflections refer to the bouncing back of light, sound, or waves when they hit a surface that does not absorb the energy.
Reflection of light is the process by which light rays strike a surface (like a mirror) and bounce back into the same medium.
In photography, reflections refer to the mirror-like images or light bounces that appear when light reflects off a surface before reaching the camera lens. They can be used creatively or controlled to avoid unwanted glare.
A reflection in photography occurs when light bounces off a reflective surface—like water, glass, metal, or polished floors—and is captured by the camera. This reflected light can show a duplicate image of the subject or add interesting light effects to a composition.
Common Sources of Reflections:
Water: lakes, puddles, wet streets — often used for symmetrical mirror shots.
Glass: windows, mirrors, buildings — can show layered or double images.
Metal: cars, kitchen utensils, or other shiny objects that bounce light.
Eyes: the natural reflections (called catchlights) that add life to portraits.
Creative Uses:
Symmetry: capturing a perfect mirror image (like a mountain reflected in a lake).
Depth and layering: reflections can make a photo feel more three-dimensional.
Storytelling: reflections can suggest duality, emotion, or introspection.
Light play: photographers often use reflections to add glow, texture, or sparkle.
Technical Tips:
Use a polarizing filter to reduce unwanted glare (especially on water or glass).
Adjust your angle of shooting — sometimes moving a few degrees changes how reflections appear.
In low light, use reflections (from windows, neon signs, etc.) to add illumination.
Experiment with focus — sometimes focus on the reflection itself, other times on the real subject.

Springing into the picture today
bouncing through my minds eye
the rabbit has stopped to play
The warm sun suggests its May
So go outside and look at the sky
and connect with nature today
If while wandering in the woods,
you came across the portal.
Would you get close?,
would you dare?,
to look into it with
a long deep stare.
This one lives forever,
so it seems and even darkness
is swallowed by the empty soul
of this wooded immortal.
The path less traveled
as we have been told,
is often difficult
unless you are bold.
Yet this path is
beautiful and green,
a sight to behold.
A hole in the wall brings hope,
which is worth more than gold.
Taking the path less traveled
is like breaking the mold.
For great adventures
await the bold.

The Queen Bee is in the garden with me.
Flitting in the air for her subjects to see.
She watches over them as they move about her palace in the tree.
She moves about the garden with me.
Sharing stories of her hive with glee.
Every bee,
in her tree,
is happy as can be!
Working and playing in harmony!
.........................
Little spirits,
falling from the tree's.
Singing and laughing
in the breeze.
Little spirits,
smile and tease,
come play with us,
please.
Little spirits,
dancing with the bee's.
Floating in the
soft warm breeze.
Little spirits,
growing into tree's.
as Great spirit,over see's

Photograph of the helicopter type seedlings from the Maple trees, mirrored and saturated.
Hide and seek in the leaves
playing, laughing,
wont you, please?
Outside the world is
drifting away
but friends stay.
Finding a soul
to spend time around,
is always easy when
we look at the ground.
Nature provides,
in every way,
so, join in and play.
Dream, create, play!

The Macro shot pops,
these distinct facial features in place,
as the new view settles.
We find life in the rain drops,
that delicately rest on the crisp green
of the Tiger Lily petal's.
The picture hops,
while viewing this piece,
and the mind resettles.
The magic of the eye plops,
another image created
out of Lily petal's.
................
In my mind
daydreams and haze.
Seeing into
another's gaze.
Searching for
the inner maze.
With eyes that see
not the craze.
Look with eyes that
have no glaze.
Uncover the sight
that art sets ablaze.
Photograph taken of left over metal coil that covers and protects wires in lighting systems. No alterations to photograph other than mirrored only.
An infinity mirror installation filled with a dazzling galaxy of coloured lights. The mirrored surfaces create endless reflections, multiplying me into countless versions of myself in many directions.
At the Be Happy Museum, Szczecin.
Secret places,
I like to find.
The ones hidden
between your
world and mine.
Magical in every way.
Places where
fairies would
dance and play.
Beautiful doorways
such as this.
If I walked across
would it open to
my bliss.
Is the troll hiding underneath,
or the Dragon flying above
with large sharp teeth.
Why, when we grow up?,
do we stop seeing.
Is magic only for children
who's daydreams
are fleeting?
As the fall sun drifts
in and out and the
cool breeze finds
its way in.
Warm coco and colorfully
quilted blankets bring
the memories in.
Family's and loved ones,
laughing as the
stories begin.
Winter Holidays and cuddling
by the fire, count me in.
Apparently Flickr didn't like this one, as it has disappeared, Poem and all. I can not recall what I wrote but I am upset I didnt save the poem now!!!!! :(
On a dark and scary night,
bats take flight and the winds
screech through the tall dark trees.
Walking on the city streets,
lost in the fog where monsters hide,
achew....
Was that a sneeze?
Should you run, run for your life?
Toward the never ending, end of the road
lined with tall dark scary tree's.
Running faster,
the trees begin to blur.
There it is again.
Achew....
Another sneeze.
How fast should you run?,
will you ever reach the streets end?
What is that sound
on the other side of the trees?
Almost there,
do not look around,
even the trees are
listening for the sound.
Achew....
your friend walking with you
lets out another sneeze!
Geeze
Gotchya!
While lying in the grass today,
I heard a voice say come and play
Look through the trees and you will see,
a portal to take you where you want to be.
Through the dragons eye today,
I drift off to dream and find my way.
A place where one can be worry free,
and dance all day with glee.
A green, surreal place to play.
In dreamland where the young at heart stay.

Elegant Elemental's
surround us everywhere.
We walk by so often
without even a care.
Elegant elemental's
surround us everywhere.
Perhaps an artistic peek
at the world around you,
will cause you to stare.
To stare,
at the
elegant elemental's
everywhere.

Curling up in the cold of winter
is how we pass our days.
Wrapping up in the blankets for
warmth is all the craze.
The leaves however are
blanketed in the snow,
with little warmth to speak of
when the wind dose blow.
Curling instead the tips
of there being,
as the cold seeps in,
that here is what we are seeing.
Take not the warmth for granted,
as the weather outside is not enchanted.
Proverbs 4:23
Above everything else, guard your heart;
for it is the source of life’s consequences.
No poetic attempt today just one good verse that comes to mind when I see this picture.
Looks like a sword and heart to me.

Puppy in the garden,
bouncing all about.
Playful little puppy,
popping up and out.
Playing in the garden,
with that cute little pout.
Puppy made of Lilly's
makes me smile as it
prances all about.
Dancing in the wind,
with a barking shout.
Smelling the beautiful flowers,
sniffing it up with its snout.
Puppy in the garden,
bouncing all about.
