The amazing Bean (Cloud Gate), in the park in chicago, illinois in late fall. The skyline outlines it and is seen in the reflection.
Some people think of Morning Glories as an invasive weed that grows everywhere and over everything. I think they are beautiful bits of color and heart-shaped leaves that appear in the places we need them most. I saw a collection of them in the alley behind my house making some garbage cans look especially pleasant. I figured if they can make a rat condo look good what they could do to the inside of a nice house would be Morning Glory-ous!
• Hand-cut leaves and flowers
• Hand-forged ivy element
• Hung horizontally or vertically
• 48” h X 18” w
One of my favorite things to do in Chicago is to walk around the city and see what pieces of discarded hardware I can find. You’d be amazed (and possibly horrified) at what I find under elevated train tracks – sheared off bolts, rusted railroad spikes and lag bolts, various and numerous pieces of metal begging for a second chance. Well, here it is. Happy commuting!
• Salvaged and repurposed hardware
• Brushed and rusted steel
• Various sizes and designs

Some people like to do it as soon as they wake up. And some do it several times a day. Some will even do it with their boss and co-workers…in the office! There are those who enjoy it nice and slow, while others prefer to just power through it. No matter how you take your coffee, hang this piece of steel wall art and let the world know you’re in the mood.
• Hand-forged coffee cup, spoon element
• Hammered details
• Brushed steel finish
• 15” h X 15” w
Larger than most urban gardens, this flower patch features over 3 dozen, fresh plasma-cut posies that create an eye-watering steel mirror – even if you don’t have pollen allergies. It’s so big and so gorgeous anyone will look good in it. Trust me, I tried it! They’ll never shrivel up and always look fresh as a…how’s that saying go?

Welcoming the Wood family.
Mom, Little pup, Big sis, Big dog, Little sis, and Dad
Mom comes from the
central depths of Treeland,
a place where growth and sappy love
contract and expand.
Little pup is from the burnt,
rooted forest of a far away land.
While Big dog comes from
a place so grand.
Big sis and Little sis,
share a room in Treeland,
High amongst the branch's where
the canopy is fanned.
Dad is a little bit of both,
the deep center,
grounded in the land,
with a little bit of sun and roots ,
from someplace that is grand.
All together they form
the rings in the tree band.
One family rooted in the sand.

Usually a picture frame just accentuates the picture it’s holding. This one dominates it. It’s strong, striking and virtually demands the viewer to interact with it. The over-sized keyhole draws the viewer in, begging them to invade someone’s privacy. And when they do, they’re already smiling before they even see what’s on the other side…your favorite picture of a kitten playing with a butterfly. Oh well, at least the frame is cool.
• Hand –cut steel
• Brushed finished
• Holds 4” x 6” picture
• 16” h x 11” w
Strong steel and industrial accents contrast with the warm brushed finish and inviting beveled sides. An impressive piece of art on its own – I suppose you could clutter it up with a photo if you really want to.
• Beveled design
• Visible weld beads
• Hardware accents
• 14” h X 16” w
It was designed for a die hard Chicago Cubs fan and inspired by the ivy-covered right field wall at Wrigley Field - where he always sits. Now he can take his coat, along with his hopes of the Cubs ever winning and hang it up.

--testimonial-- “We needed a new coat rack and Riggs worked with us on some ideas…a consultative process to be sure! We were floored by the options he presented but living one block from Wrigley Field, the decision was easy. He transformed a wall coat rack into a work of art that truly reflects the personality of our home.”

As kids we play in leaves. When we get older we rake leaves, and when we’re gone we get buried under the leaves. That’s the morbid inspiration for this light-hearted collection of rustic wall art. This symbolic circle, or triangle of life is to die for.
