View allAll Photos Tagged miracles,
I am so happy that I could almost cry this is the first photo of a damselfly that I’ve ever taken in my life. The only thing I did to this photo was crop it. I’m just amazed at how beautiful it came out, I hope you will be too!
The odd thing, the miracle is the fact that I was sitting on the porch flickering and I was admiring photos of dragonflies & damselflies, I said to myself “I haven’t seen a damselfly in this area but it would be nice to see one up close”. This little lovely fly must have been a guardian Angel because less than five minutes my want was granted. This scarlet beauty stayed still but also danced around from branch to branch. I haven’t gone through them yet, this is the very last shot I took.
I may not be able to thank everyone personally but I do try because I do appreciate you looking at my photograph, faving it, or commenting on it. I would love to know what you guys think. I don’t know about you but I’m tickled pink! THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Macro Mondays - Necklace
This is the centre section of 5 linked pieces of a necklace manufactured by 'Miracle Jewellery' based in Birmingham (as embossed on the reverse)
This came into my possession in 2010 and I wrote to the company to ask for any information and approximate date of manufacture. They kindly responded to say.....
"The necklace dates very much from the 1970s but had a short life on the market. The stones are Swarovski chatons and bohemian glass fire opals and moonshines."
MIRACLE Jewellery began manufacturing in Birmingham in 1946 and became a leading British manufacturer of Celtic jewellery, Irish jewellery and Scottish style jewellery.
In May 2013 Miracle moved to Cornwall where it is now made by St Justin, using traditional casting and finishing techniques.
This centre section measure 2.5 inches

“There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle.”
Albert Einstein
WHY! who makes much of a miracle?
As to me, I know of nothing else but miracles,
Whether I walk the streets of Manhattan,
Or dart my sight over the roofs of houses toward the sky,
Or wade with naked feet along the beach, just in the edge of the water, 5
Or stand under trees in the woods,
Or talk by day with any one I love—or sleep in the bed at night with any one I love,
Or sit at table at dinner with my mother,
Or look at strangers opposite me riding in the car,
Or watch honey-bees busy around the hive, of a summer forenoon, 10
Or animals feeding in the fields,
Or birds—or the wonderfulness of insects in the air,
Or the wonderfulness of the sun-down—or of stars shining so quiet and bright,
Or the exquisite, delicate, thin curve of the new moon in spring;
Or whether I go among those I like best, and that like me best—mechanics, boatmen, farmers, 15
Or among the savans—or to the soiree—or to the opera,
Or stand a long while looking at the movements of machinery,
Or behold children at their sports,
Or the admirable sight of the perfect old man, or the perfect old woman,
Or the sick in hospitals, or the dead carried to burial, 20
Or my own eyes and figure in the glass;
These, with the rest, one and all, are to me miracles,
The whole referring—yet each distinct, and in its place.
To me, every hour of the light and dark is a miracle,
Every cubic inch of space is a miracle, 25
Every square yard of the surface of the earth is spread with the same,
Every foot of the interior swarms with the same;
Every spear of grass—the frames, limbs, organs, of men and women, and all that concerns them,
All these to me are unspeakably perfect miracles.
To me the sea is a continual miracle; 30
The fishes that swim—the rocks—the motion of the waves—the ships, with men in them,
What stranger miracles are there?

Still catching up, but so amazingly happy to be back home with all of you!
Wishing you a fabulous weekend! Xoox
I know it is more than that... Bless you!
(It was a pretty hard shot to take, since I was inside water, wearing scuba diving equipment, it was windy, and I was fully blinded by the almost 40°C sun, I couldn't see phone screen properly, a truly miracle caught for me)
Yes...it is a miracle. The four of us in a picture..with ALL of us smiling. Woohoo! No easy feat especially in the evening. Sydney has been throwing monster tantrums...especially at night and Jessie can be very defiant when she comes home from school in the evening. Today everyone was well behaved for the most part.
It's not perfect, but I'm happy with how this turned out. And if I don't get a better shot of the four of us to use, this is going to be the picture on our Christmas cards this year.
Breathing in, this air has touched mountains and trees.
Breathing out, I offer it back to the world.
Breathing in, I am the planet breathing.
Breathing out, the stars exhale with me.

In love with my friends <3
Miracles are happening now.
It's the miracle of christmas that is repeated every year when, for the reflection of the christmas lights, the water of the river Sacco takes the colors blue, silver and gold.
This is a magnificent myth about the Virgin Mary, whom the Mexicans call Virgencita. About her miracles, which she showed as a sign of her existence. Beautiful roses on the cloak of a poor peasant, which is still being studied by modern scientists as a wonderful relic.

CN L584 is slowly making its way northbound into London with an awesome trio of CN 4138, CN 7038, and CN 4717. At 19h40, they would normally still be in St. Thomas or if they were quick, be partway up the Talbot spur between St. Thomas and London. To be done their work at Ingredion and heading back in London is unheard of. Normally they aren't allowed to lift loaded frame cars at Formet in St. Thomas until 1900, but this day they must have done it around 1800. The result is an extremely rare appearance in golden hour. The side effect is that they weren't allowed back in London yard, as the yard was busy with other trains. The yardmaster noted that they were about 2 hours earlier than normal.

My hibiscus pots came in for the winter, but I'm happy to say they are still blooming beautifully! I had to take a close-up of the center of this one, it reminded me of a tiny rose.

Merry Christmas, my friends!
Rares sont les marguerites à cette saison. Celle-ci, l'unique du massif du jardin de Mr Soubielle est un petit miracle à elle toute seule. Perfection de forme, d'éclat...
I am not very good at making pictures in forests, but when there is something reflecting than I see opportunities to do something with trees. This scene is also from Canada. In the village where my sister lives (Brighton) there is a little park called Proctor Park. The scene is from here.
"When I see the miracle of a shell, I know that God and nature must surely touch hands."
Yes, a perfect shell... a perfect miracle. Yes, I brought it home even though I said that I would bring home no more shells. I lied.
It started like a little tapping in the roof, with a slow and spaced rhythm, then it increased to a epic hammering of liquid all over the place, like the cacophony of a band of mad drummers....
