It really is a Miracle Garden covering a large expanse of desert. With temperatures in the 40s, it's hard to believe anything could survive let alone be this beautiful.

Her real name is Miracle because it was a miracle she was found, rescued, fostered, and then later adopted by my DD in the NL….

Observing our World and the beauty that lies within is something that we photographers do often. Things or objects that we see readily we can easily take for granted. Until we train ourselves to appreciate and enjoy the simplest of things we encounter, then we’re apt to overlook and consequently miss out on one real joys of life. Being aware and grateful for even the smallest of our visual treasures gives us an appreciation for, and broadens our desire to seek out and savor more of “Nature’s Miracles.” These colorful miracles are virtually everywhere throughout our day even when we’re not getting around now and we once were. Thanks for viewing my work. In closing

My DD purposefully leaves the front door open with the storm door latched so Miracle can sleep in a sunny spot. Love how her legs and paws are subtly reflected in the door.
Happy Caturday : sleep

Auchintaple Loch, which has a boat house on the far side, is often named as a favourite spot by walkers on the Cateran Trail.
Whilst the loch itself is man-made there are traces of an early chapel at Chapel Hillock on a low rise just above the loch, identifiable by a turf-covered stony bank enclosing a slight hollow containing several stones.
Near to the chapel is the Lady Well or Virgin Mary’s Well, which is still supplied with a plentiful flow of clear water. The wells in the area were once known for their curative properties, and many people visited in search of a miracle cure.
It was thought that the first Sabbath in May was a day on which the waters had their greatest effect, and drinking from the well before sunrise was considered even more propitious.
Just moved her off my chair and onto the “fainting couch”. She’s not quite sure about being ousted (cautious) but I’m sure in due time she’ll start purring …

The pretty bright yellow flowers in the foreground (Doronicum grandiflorum) are particularly interesting plants. Not only are you supposed to lose any scare of heights after eating some of their roots, but they can even make you bulletproof - if you dig out the roots on a Friday during the new moon and before sunrise. (Granted, Wikipedia dutifully points out the questionable source situation especially in regard to the second aspect. Don't say I didn't warn you.)
Jokes aside, the plants contain some sort of natural sweetener, and all herbivores, but particularly chamois, like to eat them. So people thought that eating these plants is what makes the chamois unafraid of heights and sure-footed even in the most daunting terrain.
Don't expect miracles to arrive with fireworks and fanfares. They appear quietly, modestly, on Angels' wings.

I blossom and die
Send your storm and your lightning to strike
