From Vigilante Coffee on H St. NE Washington, DC

I went to fetch Olive for lunch, but she didn't want to come, so had Cuppa Soup & sandwich again. Mum & I enjoyed bacon, egg, chips and salad at the Rose & Crown. We had a quiet afternoon, and I made myself a strawberry daiquiri. I'm not too keen on the lime juice with it, so will use lemon juice next time. I also quite like blending some drinks with crushed ice to dilute them a bit, and it works well with this one.

Tai (鯛) in the front, and Suzuki (鱸) in the rear. Izumi put a piece of mint leaf between the Tai and the rice, and a touch of Yuzu on top. Then he gave us a special sauce to dip instead of soy sauce. The results? A refreshing taste of SPRING in my mouth. Love it!

The Suzuki on the other hand, has a soft texture unlike the more common salmon and tuna.

we got out of the car to pick blackberries, but before i could even unpack the ziploc bags out of the trunk, sequoia came running back to the car with something in his hand - not blackberries - but a green leaf, which he showed to me and asked excitedly "this mint?" turns out the little meadow had at least two kinds of mint growing in it, and he found some and brought back a sample to inquire if it was edible.

Loved the small Mint leaf floating in my TEA and immediately captured. Truly photo opportunities are everywhere.

Flower color varies in this species and most of the common names I found include "pink." Individual flowers are very small.

BugGuide / MPG

Cherry lemonade with mint on white wooden background. Selective focus.

The ultimate in good health sauces, pure ginger and garlic brought together in an ancient recipe which keeps the goodness alive in every lick.

Unlike sauces, this is a healthy dip, and goes best with other healthy foods like green salads, fresh cut vegetables and other non-fried snacks.
