I made a batch for my baby on Valentine's day [seeing as mint chocolate chip is his favorite flavor]. He ate 7 of them in three hours. They turned out really well!

Sehirus cinctus, a white-margined burrower bug. Less than 5 mm long. They apparently eat developing seeds of plants in the mint family. Several were foraging on this rosemary plant.

Fun Fact: These frogs are poisonous in the wild, but become non-toxic in captivity, mainly because of change in diet.
This is a flower in a patch of mint. Don't know if it's from the mint plant because it was dark and I was lighting with a torch.
