For this mini-project, I chose the word “nerd.” I feel that this word is just a reflection of myself because I am almost the exact definition of a nerd. I watch classic Doctor Who, Star Trek, and Sherlock (in addition to many other shows). I read original DC Comics and play games on my vintage first edition Atari (as well as my current consoles). I can spend countless hours per week obsessing over new scientific discoveries from my numerous weekly science magazines. My summer plans include Comic Con in July and STEM classes at UCLA. At school I challenge myself by taking as many APs and honors as I possibly can. I am proud of being the generic definition of a “nerd” by society’s standards and I’m glad I can share my interests with my friends!
