This is a mini planet of my recent 360 x 180 Panorama of the Quayside. It was created using the Hugin program.

A picture of light reflections on my roof, photoshopped into a 'mini planet' circle, and put on top of a noisy photo with the lens cap on to look like space.

A beautiful (but very busy) village with mandatory pond with ducks & swans, village green, local tea shops & pubs. The parking of cars around the green prohibited photography a little so I decided to create a little planet :-)

these days i'm experimenting again with planets and hdr. there's a lot of techniques to learn, and i'm searching a sort of standard workflow for my tastes/equipment.

for example i have always some difficulties to do 360panos + hdr with the sigma 4,5mm because of the black around the circle. but today i've tried to merge to hdr first, but without tonemapping, then stitched the .hdr files together in a single hdr panorama, and only at the end, to tonemap the whole panorama. seems that the results are not bad

A test shot of some interesting things to come...
