A number of different models have cars with the "Mini Cooper" title, including the Mini Hatch, the Mini Convertible, the Mini Clubman, the Mini Countryman, the Mini Coupé, the Mini Roadster, and the Mini Paceman
A Mini model called the "Mini Cooper" was made by the British Motor Corporation from 1961 to 1971, then from 1990 to 2000. John Cooper, owner of the Cooper Car Company and designer and builder of Formula One and rally cars, saw the potential of the original Mini for competition, and worked with Issigonis, the designer of the original Mini.
This mini is awesome!! The covers are counter top samples from my local hardware store (recycle!!) and inside...well there's lots! I used the following to fill up this mini with 20+ pages that include:
~beautiful double sided card stock
~library cards
~paint samples
~cork (I know...cork!!!!)
~tags
~corrugated cardboard
All held together with a binder ring, so you can even add more pages to it.
I put a blank label on the front so you can fill in with whatever your heart desires; lists, notes, addresses or heart's desires, lol!!!
Would make a great little scrapbook, too!

I saw these tiny pies in someone's bento and had to give them a try. Simon loves cherries, so I made mini pies for his lunch!! I used too much juice from the canned cherries, so they overflowed.

As we walked back to our hotel, we passed by some seafood stalls on Tianjin Jie. I should have known that they were touristy gimmicky places, but nevertheless we were too tempted by the cuteness of these mini-lobsters.
They were each about 4 inches (10 cm) in length, but they looked exactly like miniaturized lobsters, claws and all!
Not very much meat in there. A little tough.
Heather explained to us later that they were river prawn.
