Mini Pineapple 3D Origami is so cute! ... but I'm not very good at making the leaves on the top (they're a little funky). I plan to make this into an ornament of some sort (for ceiling fan pull, car, tree, etc), so stay tuned!! :)
This mini Adventure Team catalogue is from my childhood. This one came with my first Atomic Man figure. As I am outside US it was hard to get all the G I Joe figures and accessories when I was just a little boy. I looked at this catalogue over and over again and even dreamt that I have all of them on it. I even made equipments and accessories of my own from various materials and I even did sowing to make some uniforms…… I even made paper box spaceship and stuff like that for my small numbre of beloved figures. Now several decades later thanks to the internet, I am fulfilling my childhood dream. However, when I look at this catalogue I still feel the same excitement and happiness of my times gone by.

TBH, took this shot because of the MINI. But when i look at it now in some strange way i feel disconnected from the aesthetic of the space in which i shot this photo...
Thought it would look better when i was shooting but this kind of urban scenery just has nothing beautiful to offer me, and people that were passing by seemed like they don't care as long as they are content with the way they look (even with those who shouldn't care about fashion - alternative, punk or anarchist regiment you could see the effort to make every minute part of their clothing a statement and the time spent on details is actually huge in my standards) ... And that motivated me to think and question things;
Why do so many people care more about the statement of their fashion, the outer shell of their lifestyle visible to others than their doings or the functionality of things...?
On the other hand in terms of architecture; Why is urban decay acceptable in discourse of modern aesthetics... because in most cases it's plain ugly? Yes, it has a statement to it... but honestly, that statement doesn't go that deep in most cases... :/
.... and than i stopped questioning and started minding my own business...

Pattern: Miniature Knitting Bag Ornaments
Needles: Size 7 US
Yarn: Bag is made from Cascade 220 superwash; mini hanks are various weights of sock and lace weight yarn.
I made this for a mini ornament swap we did at our Knit Knight holiday party. I ended up with Shanda's beautiful sweater, and she ended up with this bag.
Row 1 & 2; K1, P1

I made mini-hanks of yarn by wrapping laceweight and sockweight yarn around a book and then carefully twisting it. I used toothpicks for the knitting needles with beads glued to the top.
This was quick, easy and tons of fun. I should make one for myself.
