I bought a used Sylvanian Families cottage because it's a perfect size for the mini Lalaloopsy dolls.

Time to learn how to stretch out, climb the staircases, swing, strengthen muscles, train beak and leg grips and prepare to fly for my newborn lovebirds, in this photo around one month old, day more or day less.
The first one is born on Oct. the 23, the last one, the tiny albin girl called Vittoria, on AllSaintsDay.
The training of the six siblings carries on and during these days we are especially engaging in the flying lessons because all our parrots spend long times out of their cozy houses, flying around in our home, so they need to learn the how-to :-)
This mini gym in wood is especially studied for lovebirds and they seem to enjoy it all the way.
This is a macro of a micro world, taken in natural daylight.
No retouching.

I am a huge fan of anything that's "torathi"; places, songs, things and clothes :)
Yay! A new set of kelpies for my office. I can't remember who posted something about making a mini for your workspace, but here, here! And yes, there are two, mirror images to be exact. (see them big for all the hand stitches)
Blogged here.
Parisian, built to the same scale as set 10230: Mini Modulars. I took a lot of influence from other builders on this one, so credit where it's due: the front roof design is a very gently modified version of Chricki's brilliant design on Rebrickable, and the general window spacing/proportions are based on fgee's model.
I realized only as I was editing the photos that I made the dumpster's lid light gray instead of the dark gray that it should be. Oh well!
A mini-scaled building in the style of one I did 5 years ago! At the time I thought I'd build more buildings of this size, so I included technic bricks with holes to start some sort of modular mini-scaled street. Then I never got around at building another one, until now! This build took quite a while and has a rather intricate inside to enable diagonal building. I actually explored a lot of different diagonal and SNOT techniques during the process of building this. I might upload a breakdown of the inside and some additional assemblies that didn't make the cut later.
Wow, I can't believe I haven't uploaded anything in six months! Of course, busy is always the excuse, but I must admit I had to rediscover my building motivation a bit. Right now summer is starting and that means I'll have more time to get building again. Hopefully see you soon!
