On November 17, as part of its series of events highlighting the "Save 10" initiative, FSR hosted a panel discussion on how millennials define, think about and prepare for retirement. The panelists explored the experiences of real millennials and examined how Capitol Hill staffers and other young adults can begin planning for their financial future.

USC Annenberg’s Center on Communication Leadership & Policy (CCLP) presented a conversation on the 2012 elections featuring CCLP senior fellow Morley Winograd and Mike Hais, co-authors of Millennial Momentum: How a new generation is remaking America. From the publisher: “In Millennial Momentum, Winograd and Hais investigate how the beliefs and practices of the Millennials are transforming other areas of American culture, from education to entertainment, from the workplace to the home, and from business to politics and government … They also illustrate why this generation's unique blend of civic idealism and savvy pragmatism will enable us to overcome the internal culture wars and institutional malaise currently plaguing the country.” CCLP director Geoffrey Cowan moderated the discussion.
