The Millenium Monument Church Court, Inner Temple.
The column in this court was erected and dedicated in the year 2000 AD in the centre of what was formerly the cloister courtyard of the monastery of the Knights Templar. The column also marks the point at which the great fire of 1666 was extinguished. The sculpture is by Nicola Hicks. The Temple Church is in the background.
The face you see here is a screen that changes every few minutes and reveals a new face. Inthe summer water is sprayed from this structure.

View of the Millenium Bridge, Newcastle Gateshead showing changing colours. Taken Midsummer's Eve 2010.
A new technique - not learnt from anyone else. It is based on converting a colour image to black and white using the Calculations method in Photoshop.
The faces on the display wall are those of some random people in Chicago, the expressions of the faces change as do their lips part to spout forth water periodically. There are two of these walls facing each other, the space in between is filled with kids who don't seem to get enough of the water.
Millenium Bridge. Denver, CO
The bridge “provides stimulating views of Lo-Do, Auraria, and Union Station. The bridge itself, supported by cables attached to the white, pencil-like shaft, looks vaguely maritime. Don’t be fooled— it’s a one-legged suspension bridge floating a mile above sea level—an amazing balancing act… The footbridge traverses the main consolidated trunk line, serving the Union Pacific and Burlington Northern/Santa Fe railroads, as they haul thousands of tons of freight & coal through the heart of Denver each day.”
