The Millenium Point building in Birmingham City Centre, I was surprised at how the surroundings have changed so significantly since I last visited, with the creation of the Thinktank Science Garden.

"Sir, we just lost the main rear deflector shield. One more direct hit on the back quarter and we're done for."
My Star Destroyer minikit chasing a micro Millenium Falcon. The Falcon has a grand total of eight bricks in it.
Millenium Falcon. I didn't understand what the purpose of the "Midi-Scale" Falcon was.....why not put guys in it? I could never make a decent looking Falcon. I never wanted to spend $100 or more on the official sets. So this is the midi scale with a few adjustments to make it for the minifigures. The cockpit is basically from the B-Wing fighter. Han sits comfortably at the controls. Under the center gun I made room for two people to sit to "man the guns" I made the radar dish smaller...it looked too big.
The Crown Fountain
Designed by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa and inspired by the people of Chicago, The Crown Fountain is a major addition to the city's world-renowned public art collection.
The fountain consists of two 50-foot glass block towers at each end of a shallow reflecting pool. The towers project video images from a broad social spectrum of Chicago citizens, a reference to the traditional use of gargoyles in fountains, where faces of mythological beings were sculpted with open mouths to allow water, a symbol of life, to flow out. Plensa adapted this practice by having faces of Chicago citizens projected on LED screens and having water flow through a water outlet in the screen to give the illusion of water spouting from their mouths. The collection of faces, Plensa's tribute to Chicagoans, was taken from a cross-section of 1,000 residents.
The fountain, which anchors the southwest corner of Millennium Park at Michigan Avenue and Monroe Streets, is a favorite of both children and families. The water is on from mid-spring through mid-fall each year (weather permitting,) while the images remain on year-round.
The Millenium Bridge, Gateshead early evening.
I like the way the curves on the hand rail match the curves of the bridge, its juts a pity I didn't have an ultra wide angle lens to get more of the bridge in.
This was taken atop the first drop of Millenium Force at Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio. This is without question the greatest roller coaster and the greatest amusement park in the world. At this point, we about 310 feet in the air and the first drop is so steep, we can't even see all of the track. Weeeee!!!!!!
