Fox Glacier, one of the few glaciers in the world that practically come down to sea level and ends in a rainforest. Few glaciers are this easily reachable. The most common way is a short helicopter ride onto the more stable midsection, a huge constantly moving field of ice with chunks as large as houses. It has been retreating for most of the last 100 years, a pattern that increased significantly after 2009
After seeing this, and watching my son have at it, I thought this would be a cool addition to any party. And, it looks like a simple build: 6 to 9 floral squares in a rectangular cut out on a piece of plywood painted to look like a ninja.
Apparently, the carnival committee at our neighborhood school thought the same a I. At this year's annual fundraising carnival featuring easy play and win games, the card ninja was a big hit.
To play card ninja, simply flick the card toward the ninja's midsection; stick it and win a prize. This looks like a winner!
Censer and cover (koro), 1877
Signed: Gensuke Suzuki Hoikinsai, Tokyo; Meiji 10
Bronze, gold, and other alloys
This magnificent square censer rests on a tall, multitired pedestal richly decorated in layers with a band of waves tipped with gold foam at the bottom, a band of 12 small reserves of the animals of the zodiac, a plinth with corner brackets casts with gilt Chinese lions among rocks and waves, and gold dragons at midsection.
The vessel itself features motifs from the traditional courtly bugaku dance: dances dressed in butterfly costumes on one side and the festival drum on the other. Large handles in the form of blossoming paulownia brances are applies to the vessel, and a large pheonix surmounts the cover, which is cast in the form of rocks.
The base bares a large inscription, and the piece is signed with individual artists' names in several places.
This gorgeous parrotfish is swimming parallel to the ocean floor. The reason doubtless has something to do with the cleaner wrasse you can see towards the bottom of the midsection of the fish. Cleaner wrasse “service” larger fish by picking off and consuming ecto-parasites. An unusual symbiotic relationship.
A large 13th Century gothic castle, first mentioned in 1350, which was destroyed in Bohemian-Hungarian wars in the 15th Century. It was a quite large castle complex with triple configuration - a large and long bailey, three main trechnes, a midsection and a separate core. The disposition is still well visible, a path follows the first trench around the bailey, through the second and third trench up to the core. Two drawbridges isolated the core, which was otherwise surrounded by inaccessible steep rocks. It´s well walkable and very popular by tourists.
The in the years 1928-29 according to plans by Otto Prutscher built residential complex with 72 flats was named after the Vienna councilman Hermann Fischer (1867-1933), reminiscent of which is also a plaque.
The most interesting thing here at Ybbs street is the elongated, held even and symmetrical facade with staggered back midsection and shifted balconies; on the ground floor is situated the party home with round-arched hall windows (now SPÖ Area Prater).

The deep, clinker-clad passageways with barrel vaults give the building an almost "dignified" character. In the courtyard the great stone balls as quite unusual staircase railing anchorages attract attention.
The facade in the Harkortstraße is characterized by protruding loggias with corner adornment and eye-catching barring of windows above the ground floor.

Die tiefen, klinkerverkleideten Durchgänge mit Tonnengewölben verleihen dem Bau einen geradezu "würdevollen" Charakter. Im Innenhof fallen die großen Steinkugeln als recht ungewöhnliche Stiegen-

Here's the midsection of an old A300.Clearly the DHL titles are somewhat visible. Also, it still carries it's engines.
Up until now Exploriens was going so well as a theme. Despite looking great and containing a wealth of useful pieces, this model has serious design flaws. Not least the ridiculously skinny midsection, which results in the model breaking in half if you try to pick it up. The front section under those two sideways-facing cockpits is very skimpy and tends to fall apart, and these two hinged plates on the back don't actually cover that big telescope. The briefing for this set seems to have been "design the biggest Lego spaceship ever" without any real attention being paid to detail. There are things like wheels on the wings which are facing the wrong way and don't serve any actual function, and the structure as a whole is not very stable. For completists only.

Granny LeAndra is a complex elderly woman, she has a tendency to suddenly stand up and pull her clothing off. The rehabilitation team tackled this habit and gave her a comforting distraction in life to keep her out of her bad habits by giving her a specialized harness that is best described as a harness with overalls attached to it. The overalls are made of leather with a soft fleece lining and the midsection is all fleece and very puffy, over it are two thick heavy leather positioning control straps. Standard shoulder retracting straps are used and are made of soft blue leather. The colors of the device can be customized. All straps are optionally made with locking closures for especially escape prone patients. Granny LeAndra finds the UltraSoft Harness Suit so comfortable that she refused to take it off when she got out of her wheelchair, this is no problem as the suit is designed to be worn for up to 22 hours a day, two hours a day should be spent outside of the suit for skin health, cleaning of the suit and for bathing. Granny LeAndra hates those two hours of the day she is outside of her harness suit. She has fallen in love with it and it brings her comfort relaxation and happiness with its warm puffy hug all around her body.

Dozens of utility repair trucks stage at a fair ground near Lone Star Executive Airport in Montgomery County near Conroe, Texas and north of Houston Monday morning, Sept. 15, 2008. Two days after Hurricane Ike battered the Texas and Louisiana coasts before striking Houston, the death toll rose to 30 in eight states, many of them far to the north of the Gulf Coast as the storm slogged across the nation's midsection, leaving a trail of flooding.

This guy was about 2 - 2 1/2 feet long, and pretty thick in the midsection (digesting a meal?) My son almost stepped on him barefooted while we were carrying our kayaks up from a river. If anyone can positively identify what kind it is, i'd appreciate it. Bright red tongue, which made me think garter snake, but it didn't seem to have quite the typical markings for a garter.
