Ovenntrie Castle is situated on an island off the coast of the Elvish kingdom of Hesperia, representing the closest human encroachment to that fiercely exclusionary enclave. It is the only point of outside trade for the elves, and a lucrative source of income for the humans who keep the castle and town.

The Shuttler, T-T, and the Pony Express nearing Beacon #3 in the Kepler Cup round 2.

In the beginning of space travel, the ranges of FTL travel were limited to the drives themselves. As time went on, drives became more advanced and ships began to rely more on fuel. Captains had to pack their cargo holds with fuel or find somewhere to stop and refill.

Out on the Galactic Rim (where a hold full of cargo is an explosive possibility) independently minded people have been quick to take advantage. Like the hermit crabs of old Earth, purveyors of these refuelling depots find a suitable rock, burrow inside, set up basic life support and open as a going concern.

Captains usually set themselves up in very densely populated asteroid belts and have the ability to shut down all beacons and power and become undetectable at a moment's notice. The threat of fuel pirates are an ever present one and depot captains often contract mercenaries for protection during times of local upheaval.

I love modern architecture, and the challenge for my Lego group was dream house, so I decided to build a modern house. You can see a pool and three sections of living quarters.

Ok last one till next month (maybe) I decided to add some fangs to the forward prongs and some fire (maybe venom?) dropping out. Some blades on the back for additional post-thuster stability control.

A 1:125 scale ship. It has a full interior as always. Though there is space for the bed and toilet I don't have the pieces for them. This is also why the ship is blue not grey.

The landing gear retracts though not very well. there is also a engine room added from the cross section of the ship. It is removable to access the lower cargo hold.

The lower hatch is also there but it is kept closed to keep the 3 stud wide part of the ship and the 4 stud wide part of the ship together.

A Tug, a Missile Rover, and a gunship.

Landmate vs Landscript in a battle of height advantage.

And this is what happens with an attack roll of 7 in HtH range.

More mechs for MFZ. With some trucks and infantry to check my scale. The semi and van were of an appropriate scale, but those soldiers turned out to be the height of the vehicles! Clearly, I need to do some rethinking of how I'm going to do this.

Also, I was doing some testing in colors and armament, as can be seen.

This was fun to make. Deciding what you can compromise on to fit the scale is half the challenge.

Yet another design for OGRE/G.E.V. miniatures sculpted in LEGO. The Combine's 2011 force is a recognizable evolution of today's military equipment.

I'm particularly proud of the black helicopters, which are just three LEGO parts each (not counting the stand).

Possible entry for Bruno's Landscape contest.

Here we see some small sailboats navigating the River Stud. ;)

This rough looking ship does what other ships are not equipped to do, discover hyperspace lanes. Outfitted with thousands of sensors, receivers, and spectrometers this craft was built to find the next space highway that will transport colonists and merchants to new systems and expand humanities existence to parts unknown. While dangerous, the reward can be substantial.

This model has a long range communication system and is able to store and transmit messages over extra long distances. Entrepreneurial depot captains take a stipend from each message, further augmenting their incomes.

Crew: 2-10

Manufacturer: No standard design, asteroid dependent.

Weaponry: Nil.

Special: Augmented fuel capacity. Long range communication beacon.
