The 'sea' consists out of blue, dk blue, light blue and white flags which create the wave effect. I also added some yellow flags to simulate a beach/shoreline.
The galleon itself consists out of a bicorner minifig. hat which serves as hull while white pauldrons make the sails.

This is also the first time I have use a light box to photograph Lego. Are some of you using fishing line to suspend your work -or are you just shopping the supports out?
With gearshift and steering wheel, held in place by a lever arm.

Built for the Mini Camper contest on Eurobricks.

This was an attempt at a microscale backhoe. I think it turned out okay. I just need to get a pair of arms in a better color.

Designed around a massive spinal mount, its primary mission is as a quick-strike vessel. The missile bays are more of a defensive weapon used to keep the vessel alive while it focuses on its ship-killing mission.
Designer's Notes:
Built as a companion to the battlecruiser and Death's Head Destroyer.
The Oroso Conclave have the most careful, defence-minded and tactical military forces of the known races, outside of the Vonn. Their priority lies squarely in defence, their fightcraft lack FTL ability. Instead, they need to land on a 'mother' ship or be stored on a rack in transport.
The T'frr is the primary fightercraft fielded by the Conclave; it is nimble, capable and well-armed against a variety of threats with wing and chin mounted cannons.
Although reasonably small, the ship needs two crew. In common with most Oroso, the crew of a T'frr live and exist in very close quarters. This closeness is key to their relationship and fighting ability; if one of a pilot-pair dies or is unable to fight again, the other often struggles to adjust back to military life.
The T'frr served admirably against the European Union forces during the brief Human-Oroso conflict, bested only by the late introduction of Grendel Squadron.
Manufacturer: Oroso Combine
Role: HG/RG-Fighter
Length: 8m
Crew: 2
Weaponry: 3 x Autocannons
Shields/Armour: Light/Medium
FTL: Incapable

if you want to know what this building is, look at the explanation here
One of the most distinctive features of the Tomcat is its variable geometry wing. Small scale is not an excuse to not have it on this model as well.
Microscale building is most commonly associated with the giant collaborative ‘Micropolis’ city displays at events like Brickworld, where the focus is on gleaming modern architecture. So it’s refreshing to see Flickr member HOEFOL going seriously old school with microscale models of structures fro...
I thought the van would be way cooler in micro than in airplane mode. Inspired by The LEGO Movie Polybag, www.dagsbricks.com/2014/02/set-review-lego-movie-accessor...
When the war came to the Antarion IV, the factories became a significant target for heavy bombers of the enemy faction. As a result, each factory was upgraded to defend itself and ultimately the factories on Antarion IV became as heavily armed as the war machines they produced.

This microscale vignette was created for the Eurobricks Micro Sci-Fi contest.
It took me four days to design (in my head) and build this 39-stud monster. Features include:
Hangar and opening hangar doors
Lego Power Functions hangar lights
Removable roof
Four 'SkyTank' defence aircraft
22 cannon.
I had to almost completely re-design the rear of the craft to accommodate the PF battery box, which was a surprisingly fun challenge.
The Dreadnought is a flying defence platform/command centre for my micro fleet. It is designed to float above the Earth indefinitely.
Another view of Foundry's Excalibur Lite Picket Destroyer- ***Please excuse my attempt at fluff.***
This variant is equiped with extra shield generators allowing these vessels to return from the most extreme missions.
It also has duel drives that had been designed for a much larger ship. When the contract for a cruiser was canceled, there was a surplus of preordered drives. A young engineer came up with this destroyer design to use the surplus drives and with his accepted proposal won the coveted Foundation award. With such a high thrust to tonnage ratio they are the fastest in their class.
The combination of sheilds and speed make up for the lack of heavy weaponry.
They were in high demand up to the moment the shipyards around the planet Foundry were destroyed in the invasion.

Due to the size of the flagship I needed very small ships to represent the escort ships. My intention was to have an elongated escort similer to the flagship.
Plan to add stickers to finalize the build.
This is my second try to build a microscale Supermarine Spitfire. I made many improvements to the first version.
I have revised the camouflage for my entry for the Mini Faction category of this year's LMABC.

The Golden Sands Hotel is one of the main attractions of Las LegoVegas. Gold everywhere, makes the client feel rich already ( although we know that gambling will only make you poorer )

My first attempt at micro scale building. Not too happy with the steps but overall learnt a lot for the next build so pretty happy with it.
Made for the Greco-Roman LEGO group micro-mini scale temple challenge.
I had to throw this together in 5 minutes so we had something in the thread!
It's interesting to try out different scales on the models. If they have kept some of the character after all details are gone, and almost reduced to something abstract, I'm happy with composition. This one loses a lot when reduced, but still better than what I expected.
This microscale castle and town is my section of my collaborative build with Mark Dowers for the 2021 Christchurch Brick Show.
It is not a recreation of a specific medieval town, but inspired by a number of castles and towns in Britain and Europe. The castle was mainly inspired by Conwy and Caernarfon Castles in North Wales.
The section on the left (facing East) shows the main living area, which flows through from the courtyard to the back yard. The section on the right (facing West) shows the kitchen, a loft over an enclosed bathroom, and a work area facing North.
