this article should make you wonder about the potential of clouds. think about it. SMART DUST..microchips, millions of micro monitors. the article says space, but don't you think this could just as easily be used in earth's atmosphere?

We had lunch at Pizza My Heart in downtown Palo Alto near University Avenue. Took this picture of the Egg sculpture made out of computer microchips. Then we drove down to The Mercado in Santa Clara to meet up with Mark and Ray. They joined us for a showing of the new Muppet movie. It was great fun!

Bibi had a sore left arm. Results inconclusive, she took pain meds for two weeks. Beefier muscles on that side imply that she is left-handed.

The lids on old style processors were held on by solder. This is obviously an invitation to unsolder it and see what is inside!
Unfortunately the heat caused it to thermal stress and crack. I took this picture before I took it out of the holder.
To give an idea of the scale, each one of those pins sticking up is just 0.4mm in diameter, and their bases about 1.5mm in diameter.
