I live at the Oakland County Animal Control and Pet Adoption Center at 1700 Brown Rd in Auburn Hills. You can visit me there any time the shelter is open. The shelter will not put me up for adoption because of my appearance, so my only way out of the shelter alive is through a rescue.

Con ieri è passato un mese da quando Genny è scappata dalla sua casa di Cesano Boscone. La piccola era stata adottata dopo 6 mesi di appostamenti da volontarie del sud, vissuta da randagia fino ad allora. Poi la fantastica adozione a Milano dove è stata coccolata, viziata ed amata.E' rimasta molto timorosa ed abituata ad uscire sul pianerottolo quando qualcuno arrivava a casa sua. domenica 16 la figlia della proprietaria è arrivata a casa e la piccola è uscita sul pianerottolo, ma lei non se n'è accorta. così ha sceso le scale e si è trovata sul pianerottolo di una dello stesso palazzo che è uscita dalla porta e l'ha maltrattata. la piccola è scesa ancora e il destino ha voluto che proprio in quel momento qualcuno aprisse la porta del palazzo così lei si è infilata ed è fuggita.

I brought it inside so it could stay out of the heat. It looks like it was a fat kitty at one point but is now very skinny, its hip bones stick out and you can see its ribs through its fur. If this cat is not claimed by the end of the day it will be going to the humane society as I have other animals in my home. I find Ceasar's instincts to cry for help quite interesting. It seems that Ceasar knew that if he cried loud enough & long enough, someone was bound to help him.
Turns out he took off around 9 AM, and it was 5 PM when a neighbor told me he thought there was an injured cat under a tree. The complete story is here www.flickr.com/photos/pinkknitter/2621972315/ . One thing that can be learned from this is how microchips help to reunite lost pets and their owners.
