A microadventure paddling up the Welsh coast, finding a secluded beach to camp on, catching fish and snorkelling for spider crabs for dinner, and sleeping by the camp fire.

Sleeping on a hill in the week of the winter solstice. A great way to end a year of work.

5 people who had never met before, united via Twitter, set off from Glasgow at 5pm one Tuesday night.

We climbed the Campsie Fells and bivvied on the top. The view down over Glasgow was fantastic.

We were back in town by 9am the next morning.

Another gorgeous mushroom along the lush wet verdant Dutch Miller Trail.

The Government recognises the challenges faced by apartment building owners to address combustible cladding without assistance.

In late 2020, the ACT Government announced that it would develop a scheme to support eligible private building owners to respond to potential cladding issues. The ACT Cladding Program will provide financial support during phase one – testing and assessment and concessional loans for phase two – remediation.

To assist building owners and to ensure the safety of residents, the ACT Government is offering Owners Corporations of eligible apartment buildings a rebate of 50% (up to a maximum of $20,000 ex GST) of the costs of having the cladding on their building tested and assessed.

We arrived down there amongst a large crowd, then they all left and another bunch came down...

Leave the office in pouring rain, ride out of town, pedal down paths and footpaths, watch the sun set over the sea, sleep on a clifftop, stare at stars, swim in the surf, bacon sandwich and then back to the office.

Mark stands in front of the amazingly huge monolith rock above Glacier Lake that marks the creek that flows out of the upper un-names lake.
