The last section of pipe has been replaced with a larger diameter pipe, as it slowed down the flow too much. This affordable generator is made by Energy Systems & Design and can run on very little water.

Just received this beauty, the Micro-Press 5x4 with built-in rangefinder and Boyer Paris Saphir Color 4.5/135mm. Except for the lens shutter it is in very good condition. The Synchro--Compur only works at 1/25s and shorter.
When I moved into this apartmant where I live now it was literally full of rabbish. But like in most of the rabbish, there were some useful objects. I don't know the name of this in any language but it was used to fix shoes. It is not the tool of shoe makers, rather the peasant's, they fixed their own shoes.

Nice and compact, with the funny plastic door to uncover the lens...but...
If you are right-handed, you probably want to hold the camera on its right side, to press the shutter aswell...but...
...your fingers will cover the flash...
Maybe designed for users with a two-fingers right hand.
This blog is about the numerous cameras I have acquired on the numerous fleamarkets I have visited. Located in Ostend, Belgium.
The small one came with the 'Power train city' layout, while the larger 'Central station' is a fairly common easy to find model. Thing is though, what is the purpose of the paper track sticker which goes through the canopy on the larger model? the slot isn't big enough to insert the plastic track sections, it's totally bizarre, I know it's only a toy, but the rest of it is so well thought out, that this part doesn't make sense at all.
12mm (0.4") tall hand carved wooden micro female figurine with silk hair. Japanese 144 scale (N scale, which is the well known tiny pilot figure for miniature gundam plastic models)
Tiny clown bike gets Hand cycle conversion. Easy to carry,
tricky to ride, but not only contortionists need to apply!

A cornucopia of micro green solutions for around the garden and on a patio. Bee houses, birdhouses and hanging plants solutions at the Sarphatipark.
Not as micro as Joel and Lorenzo's, but still small. 2mm pleats, I think. I am working on a 1mm one and have vowed never to fold so tiny again.
While tweaking some parts of my Splendour of the Seas MOC, I ended up going off on a tangent making some micro vehicles to match the scale of the Splendour. The double-decker buses and the Greyhound are 8 studs long.
Apparently these tiny little bits of plastic do far more damage than larger man-made objects in the sea. Animals eat them and so don't get enough real food and/or die.

It's hard to see what "beach cleans" and the like can do about the stuff that washes up on beaches - it's far too tiny to pick up every bit.
I ordered these two cars from BLW. I have one of these 50 foot auto box cars in Virginian and felt this L&N car would go good next to that. I have been purchasing some of those M-T "Per Diem" boxcars to run in modern trains.
Some homemade micro terrariums made using small bottles from a craft shop and some cacti seeds from a garden centre.
(each bottle is about 4 cm tall and about 2 cm in diameter at their widest point)
The middle terrarium contains a small marimo made from wisps harvested from a larger marimo moss ball.
From a (not so) past era comes this engineering beauty. It's disk is as small a 1€, it's format is Compact flash and it's total capacity was 4Gb. This one is from an iPod Mini teardown. The iPod Mini was designed when physical micro harddisk where cheaper than 4Gb on a chip (SSD). Today pocket memories are so common that you can get any USB pen about 32Gb for less than 30€.
