For day 3 of #Vignweek2022

I decided to go microscale.

I hope you will like my take of futuristic cyberpunk city.

Check out the video here:

Well, at least really small ones.

Some decades ago I had one like this. I loved it.

It's a Honda Z600

"In Europe only the Z600 was marketed, as the N360 had been considered underpowered. 918 cars were sold in Europe, most of them in France and Switzerland. A large number of these cars found their way to Germany (where it had not been marketed), where the engines were downsleeved to 242 cc in order to fit a particular "Class IV" category of driver's licenses which did not require an exam. These models first appeared in 1969 after the last 250 cc car in regular production, the Goggomobil 250, had been discontinued. The engine offered from 12.5 to 14 PS (9.2 to 10.3 kW) and provided a top speed of 85 km/h (53 mph)" (Wikipedia)

It feels good to draw again after a couple months of not doing so!

Julia for Julia Kay's Portrait Party!

I finished this one a while ago and completely forgot to take photos, oops! Here’s Darth Revan’s famous ship from the Knights of The Old Republic games. With an interior, of course. I haven’t played it in so long but I assume it’s still incredible!

Instructions for this little ship are on Rebrickable, as always thanks for looking and all your support.

Nikon Micro-NIKKOR 55mm f2.8 Ai-S.

I wanted to scope out an old Nikon lens, and a Nikon guy recommended this lens as the best one to try first. (Either this or a 105mm f2.5 Ai-S, or one of the f1.2's).

It's a 1:2 lens, despite the name implying a greater magnification. I've got a PK-13 extension tube designed for the lens. It gives the lens a 1:1 magnification, but a rather bulky feel.

This photo was taken with a MIR-1 and a simple extension tube. I've finally cleaned the inside of the MIR, and it's as sharp stopped down as people say.

I'll be interested to see how the Micro-NIKKOR performs; it has a strong reputation among Nikon shooters.

Sorry for the overly shitty pic. It's really cloudy out so i can't really get a good one.

But man it is fun to be doing micro again. It's been so long.

Also I finally made 15,000 photostream views.

If you fave I would greatly appreciate a legitimate comment. If you don't like it then don't fave and maybe give me some pointers.

Also if you give a good comment I wouldn't mind if you were to hit that fave button :3

A new lens has joined the microscope set today: Lomo 3.7x (The smallest one)

The Lomo 3.7x stands out as a microscope lens with a very high price-performance ratio. The lens, which does not experience corner problems in FF bodies, performs as well as "Mitutoyo 5x". The size of the Lomo 3.7x also makes it easier to use.

I sort my microscope lenses according to the following important criteria;

1: Price (Best on the right, worse on the left)

2: Magnification (Best on the left, worse on the right)

3: Quality (Best on the left, worse on the right)

4: Working distance (Best on the left, worse on the right)

Other lenses: Mitutoyo M Plan Apo 5x and Nikon CF Plan 10x 0.30 WD 16.5

I know I'm a little late to the Tachikoma trend, but I wanted make some and I thought I'd do micro ones.

Micro psychiatric clinic

Here's my micro GARC, obviously inspired by 4estFeller. I really like this, though the photo doesn't show it off to the full and the ship itself has a little dust on it. I may well take a new photo to replace this one, but it'll be inherently the same. ;)

Also, I know there are hardly any stickers on this, and it's especially needing a number 8 one, but I don't have any spare. If I get hold of some, I'll post an update!

Have a great day guys!

Another creation built for the Decisive Action 3 game happening over on MOCpages.

The specifications for this build required that none of the ships exceed 12 studs in length, 4 studs in width, or 3 bricks in height. Thus, the proportions of some of the ships are a bit distorted.

I'm hoping that that the ship types are at least clear. There is an SSBN, two SSNs, two DDGs, and ASW cruiser, two VLS CGNs, two docked CVNs and one more in the harbor (launching two fighters), an LHA, two supply ships, a hospital ship, and two old battlewagons.
