Not the best light on this Photo, but hope it worth looking at anyway.

Miami Beach Model Volleyball 2/19

With air temperature around 29C and the sea 27C in January it was very pleasant reading, then swimming then eating then swimming some more.

Photo taken from a Penthouse at The Akoya.

From the Miami Beach Auto Show 2006. I love the outside of this thing, but the interior is seriously cheesy. Way too much cheap plastic.

Lincoln Road is the commercial center of Miami Beach. It runs east-west across the island and contains over 200 stores, restaurants and bars. There are upscale shops, ethnic restaurants, al fresco dining, food carts, and today, a flea market (upscale of course)

One of my favorite places to go for a nice long run!

Las olas van y viene, ellas son como la vida, se forman, nacen, crecen, cobran fuerza, deciden su camino, lo recorren libremente con fuerza sin que nadie las detenga y así llegan a su fin.

Installation by Jonah Freeman, Justin Lowe and Alexandre Singh

“Hello Meth Lab in the Sun #13,” 2008

This was set up in an unfinished retail/residential space in midtown. This building is not yet occupied. The interior spaces are wired and mostly finished, but there was still a lot of exposed concrete and insulation. It was very much the anti-Free Sheep -- up-and-coming rather than condemned. The first two floors were filled with paintings, sculptures, installations, and video art that were somewhat compelling, but the installation on the third floor was the best piece we've seen in Miami thus far. The installation took over a mostly finished condo in the building in its entirety. Some rooms were viewable through plexiglass or peepholes in false walls installed in the home, while others were intended to be walked through. The first floor had a meth lab set up in the kitchen, and the upper floor offered surveillance of the lower floor, along with a refrigerator that had a false back, through which was a room that was completely charred on the interior, another room had holes in the wall with tape recorders exposed, another room contained dozens of mason jars with various detritus, and it ended with a view of Miami from the condo's balcony. On the way out we bumped into an Olsen twin. We think it was Mary-Kate because she was wearing so many clothes.

太漂亮了!!So beautiful!!

I'm pictured with Michelle Villalobos of Mivista Workshops and Seminars and Ivan Mladenovic of Preemo PC. Both are good friends and excellent professionals in the Miami business community. It's great working with them.

"Opulence returns to South Beach." Even though I've been gone forever, and it's still not open.

When I was at the marina a few weeks ago, I spotted lots of these jellyfish moving through the water. I thought they were quite beautiful, but one of the marina workers said they're a nuisance because they can clog up equipment and boat engines. They can also sting people swimming at the beach, and the lifeguard stations fly purple flags to warn swimmers if there is a proliferation of jellyfish in the water.

The marina worker also said some people eat jellyfish, so I looked that up on the internet, and found this interesting article: redcook.net/2012/07/30/jellyfish-to-eat-or-not-to-eat/
