I wanted to look extremely casual (it was on a holiday weekend)

so I got a new red leather jacket (it is really tight a size 10)

and a new dress (black satin and red thorns)

and so I composed a triple photo ( top secret: I mirrored the one on the right side ... pssssst)

these jeans are so tight that I had trouble standing up, as you can see

and getting out is the next problem ...

This was a photoshoot I did 1 year ago... 2 months after we broke up. We were still hanging around eachother with the painful knowledge that I was to be moving to New York City at the end of May. Neither one of us was strong enough to fully seperate, but both of us knew that once I moved, it was truly over. We just couldn't let go.

Out of internal pain came productivity. This agonizing time inspired a lot of work from me-- both photographic and literary; as I was desperately grasping at straws to capture and document the time left for us as "us".
