New arrival Flexity 017 can be seen crossing over on to tramway at Metropole as it slowly makes its way to Starr Gate. The reason for this manoeuvre was because of the ongoing road works at Talbot Square. 1st December 2017.
Metropole is the oldest and largest remaining Art Deco building in Jakarta and was listed as an architectural heritage site by the governor in 1993.
This one is a 3 exp HDR processed with Photomatix 4.2 and Photoshop CC. These are the only shots I took tonight before a security guard approached me and asked me to stop taking more pictures. He said that I need to have a permit from the Metropole Building Management to photograph there. I don't understand why I wasn't allowed to take photos of the place since it is located in and is ordinarily visible from a public place. it is in the public interest.
