Rund um den Burgberg auf der Buda-Seite der Metropole warten zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten – die meisten von ihnen sind weltberühmt und Teil des Weltkulturerbes der UNESCO. Der Burgpalast, eines der prunkvollsten Highlights in Budapest, dominiert das Burgviertel mit seiner schönen Fassade.

Around the castle hill on the Buda side of the metropolis wait many sights - most of them are world famous and part of the World Heritage by UNESCO. The Burgpalast, one of the most magnificent highlights in Budapest, dominates the castle district with its beautiful facade.
They even had a couple of Japanese machines. And one very special one. This 1967 Mazda Cosmo S Coupe Series I was the first mass produced car with a rotary engine (one litre).

Connecting the Lower Leas Coastal Park (about beach level) with the upper Leas near the Metroplole Hotel, Folkestone.
This is a clever piece of construction I think. Just for starters, how would you specify the lengths and angles of those rails to the manufacturer? And then you had to to get the posts to line up with the rail brackets, which appear to have been fitted during manufacture.

Dutch entrepreneur Frans van Haren has a classic car collection that has won prizes at prestigious national and international competitions. Since 2017, he has been presenting his impressive car collection to a wider audience in the futuristic-looking, former furniture showroom 'Metropole' in Druten, the Netherlands.
The collection includes some four hundred cars, trucks and motorcycles, making it almost the largest car museum in the Netherlands.

I liked the light, and the Metropole Hotel sign. It reminds me of old film footage I saw (someone posted it on YouTube) that was taken from the front of several different streetcars as they travelled around the city circa 1910 or maybe earlier. In one sequence the streetcar went past the Metropole hotel at its original location across the street from where it is in this shot. The signs look similar. That sat well with me for some reason. BTW, it isn't a good hotel anymore, if it was back in the day. All the old hotels in this area have been converted into single room occupancy, "affordable housing" for those living below the poverty line.
