Line 6 of the Paris metro connects the south of the capital from Charles de Gaulle - Etoile station east of Paris to Nation station forming a semicircular line. Line 6 of the metro is one of the oldest in the Paris network. Built in 1909
Apparently there is quite a lot of metro mayhem here, but luckily for me I've not had to catch a train in years. So I just look and admire from a distance, and hope to shoot one every now and then. With the camera, that is.
Having said that, there is something hypnotic about train travel. That gentle rocking and the clack of the tracks underneath as you fly over them...lovely.
Another ICM. I like train tracks because of all those lines, and they've come up rather nicely with the camera movement. There's just something so appealing about lines, don't you think?
