Tried this method of locking the piece in. But it flexes the top of the angle Alum, so I compensated by bending it slightly. . . . The blade caught the grain in the yellow wood and ripped it! So I think we must always cut the angle sloping the other way.

I used four layers of tissue paper because I found that one layer was too thin.
