Life is like a book, it has a beginning and middle and an end.
A book has an author (God) and a title (your name). A book has a hero (you) and has characters; those characters include the antagonists and all the archetypes are included: the trickster, the witch, the damsel in distress, the hero, the journey etc. the page numbers are the numbers in your life, documenting the years or months that have passed. The plot line what you do in your life, whether it is good or bad. All of those aspects make up a book as well as a person's life, that is why I chose a book to represent my reality.

A photomontage for the sculpture metaphor unit. My theme was linked to the soul and I used ethereal images and soft colours to link with the soul. Magazine cutouts, seeds, petals, string dipped in plaster.
Instead of the different colours in a stereotypical stain glass window, I decided to use different photos to create the sections of a portrait, but divided like the splits of a stain glass window.
