In MGS 2, you're assuming that Snake would be the guy you'd be controlling, but noooooo! They tricked us and stuck us this wuss!
Anyways, he comes with an optional Ninja sword, a pistol, and an extra hand to hold the gun.
Thankfully, in MGS 4, he appears to be a real kick-ass character!!!
