Sometimes your anger, and rages need to be manifestated visualy so others see your what has to come for the ones who dare to bother you!

Jack the Ripper is BACK!!!

For me to get things done, I have to concentrate on one thing at a time. Sometimes it works, but I'm still trying to figure out this new camera, even been tempted to go back to the D40, but I'm forcing myself to stick with it. Concentrate, Karen!!

Been watching my bro play MGS4 a little bit too much lately...Minifig arms were my first choice for the legs but I don't have enough in any colour.

Macro Mondays theme "Cogwheel"

For this week Macro Mondays theme “Cogwheel”, here is my collection of small gears. They are actually more decorative than functional and measure 1” in diameter.

Thank you everyone for your visits, faves, and kind comments

They kept worrying what will happen if the machines we make to protect us choose to turn on us.

These weren’t ever meant to protect anything, and they definitely had no choice.

MetalGear throwback..

Sometimes you just need to go all out....

Original here

Equipped with 8 AMR Viper missiles and a 20mm anti-personnel remote weapons station, the primary armament of the KR-27 (codename Ovcharka) is undoubtedly the 40mm Mass-Driver, which can propel a 3kg Tungsten round at 1300 Metres/Second. While highly agile, particularly in rough terrain, it is slow by conventional vehicle standards and fulfils a primarily stationary offensive role, bridging the gap between infantry and artillery.

Several design influences are at play here. This is basically a collage of some of my favourite mechs out there.

So, guess what! Another one! This has been sitting on my desk for too long. I now consider this open source, so please let me know if you would like more photos to make your own.

P.S. I am distressed with the foot design, so please somebody, anybody, solve this riddle, lest my photo-stream be dominated by sub-par WIPs.

Merry Christmas!

So, I wanted to continue the Metal Gear theme a little bit. And instead of building another mech, I wanted to build one of my favourite gameplay elements of MGSV:

Your own mobile command center, callsign "Pequod".

MGSV is all about an immersive and reactive gameworld. Each element, from the way guards patrol to the expansion of Mother Base gives you a sense of impact and choice.

Nothing sums this up in a better way than Pequod. Calling in a helicopter and waiting for it to arrive is so much more immersive to me than a simple teleport out of a mission. And Big Boss opening the door and watching the sea or more and more pictures of your journey being added inside are all true testaments to the attention to detail.

I actually wanted to post this before the GEKKO but I had to wait for the minifigures and the printed parts.

Big Boss and Quiet are both from www.leyilebrick.com.

Hope you guys enjoy! :)

Yes its a model kit! I mastered the parts from sheet plastic and my caster reproduced the parts out of resin.

Always been in love with this piece of concept art: vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/metalgear/images/f/fe/MGSV-G... , and decided to do a little fig scrap of it. Enjoy!

Not really related to The Purge and neither related to my ongoing mini series, but instead closely insipred by MGS 4 Haven Troopers. Their charcateristic feel is really hard to recreate, but I think this is close enough for the moment. Sadly black is a color to be rarely printed and I don't think I have anything to suit the leg gear. Now you may be wondering why there is only one dark tan hand, the reason is that I could not find the second one I own...instead I made another BL order. Feel free to post some suggestions. Something I thought of were those dark tan TT shoulder pieces, but I don't have them and I am not a fan of gluing. Another thing may be Legomoc´s printed legs, which I don't have either.

His is metal gear sahelanthropus, form Metal Gear Solid V, it belongs to Konami, so credits to them, designed by the brilliant Yoji Shinkawa.

I wanted to build this ever since I saw the trailer where it stands, and playing the game (40% completed so far) just made it more obvious, I was building it. It changes shape like the original, the rail gun actually shoots, but it is not minifig size, but it does have a few characters in there for fun, hope you spot them all!

Hope you like it!

Finally tried that new LEGO Ninjago hair piece with the bandana on my custom Solid Snake minifig. Pretty cool!

Hey guys!

Here is a small build that I wanted to do for a long time. I hadn't created anything from the MGS franchise until now, which is a shame because it is one of my all time favourites. Even before I was allowed to play them I fell in love with the design of these mechs.

And the Gekko is by far one of the coolest designs. I like REX and RAY a lot, but the Gekko just looks otherworldly. It has elements of the classic Metal Gear design but with those bionic legs and the way it walks and behaves, it has much more in common with an animal. Which is probably the reason they gave it cow noises in the game :D

After finishing the Jehuty, I wanted to continue building some of Yoji Shinkawas work. And when I saw Jakub Rozalski's amazing concept art, I knew I had to build the Gekko.

Therefore I built two different versions: One in grey used in the concept art and one in dark tan that resembles the in-game model.

Additionally, I recreated Jakub's concept art with LEGO Eskimos, because I like the setting and look of it so much.

There is something truly magical about seeing giant mechs in unusual environments.

I've had this figure for a while but I never took any decent pictures of it, I only had one or to I think, so here's a few more, added the tiger stripe uniform myself to make him look more like he does in MGS3

A collection of custom figures built from the 2013 game “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance”! These are 100% purist, going through a lot of iterations over the last three years.

Front (left to right): LQ-84i, Jetstream Sam, Raiden, Senator Armstrong, Blade Wolf

This shot shows off the mounting system for the weapon arms. I was influenced heavily by Aaron Beck's C-12 design.

The legs were an attempt to recreate the iconic look of Christian Salge's RedKnee Mech.
