I was originally not going to post this week in Crazy Tuesday but this afternoon, after two appointments at the hospital, my wife and myself decided to drop into a small cafe, aptly named “Feeling Peckish”, here in Newark for a light snack.
Lo and behold, this magnificent metal art work was fixed on the wall in front of me!
I think it is rather good. About a metre square.
Could be anywhere, but the location happens to be my village (the church yard of St John the Baptist). Helios 44M-7 wide-open.
This is made from recycled metal from washing machines and other old appliances.

This lovely tree swallow took a break from it's aerobatics over a pond to land on a random metal post. I love the way these birds fly, and there is something very peaceful and sweet about them that I just love.
