Uno de los techos de protección del yacimiento arqueológico de Atapuerca en Burgos.

For Macro Monday's "Made of Metal" theme.

(The measurement from inside the 3rd opening on the left-hand side is just under 3" across the width of the grater)

I'm not big on Cheddar or Feta cheese. I guess that makes this photo the grater of two evils :)

So I put the cheese grater on top of my iPad for light and colour. I'm not sure it's doing my screen any good but makes for a handy light source!

PS what do call a cheese with a little horse hiding behind it?

Mask-a -pony of course!

Re-visited some older shots that I still liked and felt they were interesting but just needed a little something. I added a darker filter by Albion which I downloaded through Adobe and made some other tweaks . This was taken of a ceiling light hanging from a gift shop!

( these bracelets covered with enamel were love at the first sight, I rarely wear them . --- exactly 3 "(7.6 cm) in diameter )

Thank you for your visits, favs and comments !

I simply made this shot, because I was fascinated by the light on the pipes. When you move your head the light was moving on all these pipes, too! I felt myself as a child again, standing there, turning my head and had a lot of fun. ; )) I hope noone had watched me!

Metal Bird found this metal sculpture while I was in the Smoky Mountains, thought it was a bit different, found in North Carolina.

Note to self: Clean garage more often on nice sunny days.

Clinging to the fence of a house, this rusty, decrepit ironwork reminded me of a metal flower from a more modern era.

Accroché à une barrière de maison cette ferronnerie rouillée et décrépie m’a fait pensée à une fleur métalique des temps plus si moderne que cela.
