I can't believe how many times in the past two and half years I have cleaned out this room and then presto it looks like this. I hate not having clear access to my books. This mess was created by bringing in the stuff we used to stage my mother's house.....Oh this isn't all....We had just cleaned out the area in the garage where we park the car and now it is full of furniture from mother's house.
A messy kitchen with leftovers is a sight that can make you laugh or cry, depending on your mood and appetite. It's a place where dishes pile up like skyscrapers, where food stains decorate the walls and floor, and where smells of various cuisines mingle in a confusing aroma. A messy kitchen with leftovers is also a treasure trove of potential snacks, if you're brave enough to dig through the containers and bags. You might find a slice of pizza, a half-eaten sandwich, or a bowl of noodles that still look edible. A messy kitchen with leftovers is a sign of a busy and adventurous life, or a lazy and careless one. It's up to you to decide which one it is.

Shot of some of the glyphs immediately left of the Kiva Ladder (previous 3 photos). There are even more on the lighter colored wall to the left.
My messy desk, 2004. My setup doesn't look quite like this anymore, although there's still crap everywhere.
Her hair gets more and more crazy and unmanageable everyday. Just like her. :P
I love it though, we spent the morning cuddling on the couch, which might actually explain the messy hair.....
So I figured she deserved some camera time. Love her! <3
Messier 37 in the constellation of Auriga.
Shot last night from my garden using a Meade LX90 8" SCT, f/6.3 focal reducer, ATIK414ex mono CCD, using Baader LRGB filters.
This was tricky to image, not because it's 4,500 light years away, but because bank, after bank of cloud rolled in, frustrating given that it was "predicted" to be clear all night.
First time I have managed to even get a hint of star colour from a cluster - practice and processing improvements needed, but this is my first "star-centric" image taken with a mono CCD.
Very little data to, thanks to those clouds:
Lx10, Rx9, Gx11, Bx14 - each 240s in length.

My first attempt to capture a DSO. I actually used my planetary imager (Imaging Source DBK) as I don't have one dedicated to DSO's yet. Even so I think it came out alright considering the chip isn't very sensitive and gives a ton of noise even at 60 second subs.
Imaged trough a Celestron 8" SCT with a 0.63x focal reducer. 50 subs 65 seconds each, stacked and processed with MaxIm DL.
Messier 3 is a globular cluster orbiting our galaxy. It is made up of very tightly packed old stars.
Trying out something but Im not that happy with the result, even thought I kind of like this messy "not finished" collage look. I might try again when I have cleaned the room..
This a picture I just found that I took of my old roommate's room.... She was probably the dirtiest person I've ever met..

Throwing powder paint at my cousin. I don't think she knew what she got herself into when she volunteered.
This is Messier object 33. It is a galaxy that is in our own neighorhood only about 2.5 million light years away. The red areas visable are regions of star birth. This is a large spiral galaxy that some say may look like our own, others claim not even close.
Full moon & less than 40% subs not totally ruined by high clouds: conditions could've been hardly worse for my 1st "why not try" portrait of Messier 33, our beautiful neighbour. So, here's the 41x180sec result with the Evostar 72 & Nikon D5300a, no filters. Adding more data this winter would be nice! 12/22
