Barcelona are desperate to sell the France World Cup winner to lower their wage bill, and Spurs are the latest club to be offered the 30-year-old. But Griezmann’s wages are a major stumbling block for the north Londoners, who are set to sign Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini on loan this week. Spurs also believe the Frenchman has his heart set on a return to Atletico Madrid and would not be interested in joining them. Barcelona must reduce their wage bill before Lionel Messi’s new contract can be signed off by the Spanish authorities.
