Edits: I Brought up the exposure and the temperature, as wells the clarity. This photograph represents messages by showcasing a sunset. The colors and the lack of sunlight show that this is a sunrise instead of a sunset
Had to take multiple shots, turned on the flash and I loved the way the ornaments stood out more because it first looked bland. I did a few basic edits such as contrast for the letters, brought down highlights/whites and brought up my shadows/blacks. Originally was going to be my Holiday feeling but the message behind it was that I’m planning on naming my daughter Marina Joy Mendez, Therefore I’m bringing Joy to the World.
Yesterday I discovered this message in the cake.......

Mixed Messages, an event organized by Katherine Scholl at Spark Contemporary Art Space on January 23, 2010.
Oh yeah, right, just the thing to stimulate some interesting discussion at the dinner table. (The chocolate was good though.)
My favorite find of the day. I found this cookie on this pillar along the sidewalk. It appears to be partially eaten and of the chocolate chip variety. It may be chocolate mint, actually.
The part that keeps my interest is the cryptic message scrawled on the wall below the cookie. I can't, for the life of me, figure out what that says, or if it even pertains to the mystery cookie. I'm afraid I may never know.

An example of a page on the inside of my "Life is too important to be taken seriously" book Where a good friend had written a message and stuck in a bunch of photos - great memento.
