On February 10th Duarte-Marti, School No. 28 welcomed our board president, Mr. Neron, to our annual PBSIS assembly. We celebrated our success in being a National School of Character with their Positive Behavior Support in School (PBSIS) booster event. Student gathered together to celebrate all of their accomplishments and successes thus far this year. Mr. Negron’s message of “We are the best” resonated throughout the gym. Students felt empowered to continue their hard work for the rest of the school year. After Mr. Negron spoke, students watched a video where other students spoke about the impact their teachers had on them and their education. To finish the celebration students played games and cheered on their classmates! Mr. Neron was also able to walk around the school and visited some of our classrooms to see the work they are doing. It was a great day at Duarte Marti School #28.
