Amanda & Alex: twenty four / one hundred
When I took this photo, I don't think I realized how powerful its message really was. In fact I haven't even realized it until I started writing this description.
I decided to go out on Euclid again last night and do some people searching. It did not take me very long to find some interesting people. In fact, I didn't even have to leave the corner of Lancaster and Euclid.
As soon as I got to the corner I turned around and found these to women walking behind me. I have found that I have now become very comfortable in asking people for their photo. As soon as I saw them, I immediately introduced myself and started to explain the project to them. They were both very excited about the experience, which made me that much more excited.
I frammed them up, and accidentally reverted back to my old ways, oops. Anyways, the most powerful part of the image is the emotions that it expresses. I don't know the back story to Amanda & Alex, but I can tell that they have a very deep friendship and that is something that you don't find everyday. You both were amazing to photograph.

A chalk message on the floor of the gazebo to Danny Parmertor from his sister. Danny was one of the shooting victims at Chardon, Ohio high school on Feb 27, 2012.
Bought the 20th anniversary (2007) of 'The Spirit of Christmas' book and this was one of the ideas. I had a few little bottles left over from the scented oils that you bought wooden sticks in, so I used them. Not too many corks, so I used a beveled sticker for a few and covered it with shells.

In one of my all time favorite movies Pipi Longstocking. She sends a message in a bottle to her Papa letter her know she is in Villa Villa Kula. Luckily he got the message and found her. What are the odds of it making it to shore and landing in the person's hands it was actually meant for.
