Alongside Stagecoach's Mansfield depot operating the South Ollerton and Mansfield evening 'zones', Kinchbus are the only private operator to run any of Nottinghamshire CC's seven DRT 'zones'. This operates in an area bounded by Clifton in the east, Hathern in the south, East Midlands Airport in the west, and the River Trent in the north. It replaced service 865 and Loughborough leg of Trent Barton's Skylink from Nottingham in May 2023.
Two former Arriva Mercedes Sprinters in the council's livery are allocated to this work, although availability can be patchy. RF68FLD (1030) was in use alongside a Sprint Solo today and is seen here leaving East Midlands Parkway where vehicles regularly seem to call to exchange passengers with trains.

The most detailed commission I've ever done, recreating a fully detailed Dutch Ambulance (a modified Mercedes-Benz Sprinter). Complete with a full interior filled with cabinets and medical equipment, as well as a stretcher. Via hidden buttons in the roof, you can open the rear doors and the sliding door on the side to get access into the interior, or simply remove the entire roof.

Getting a rural snap in before the 33 goes, the area's network changes next week significantly.
The 11 takes over the Nottingham to Cropwell Bishop route via Lady Bay, Gamston and Cotgrave.
The 747 is now extended to cover the remaining chunk of 33 route from Cropwell Bishop to Radcliffe via Cropwell Butler and Upper Saxondale, continuing through Shelford and Gunthorpe to Lowdham to resume the original route to Oxton, retimed to better connect with the 26 at Lowdham.
The 833 is amended too to serve Upper Saxondale between Cropwell Butler and Bingham, which has been slightly retimed to connect with the 11.
A new day ticket is also available, which covers the entire NCT Network, the 747 and 833 called NottsBus Day Connect, priced at £10.
RX71TNJ is seen on Cropwell Bishop Road with a 33 to Nottingham via Cotgrave, Gamston and West Bridgford.
A different take on a mini theme.
In Falmouth, Go South West subcontracted the network of local bus services to OTS who had previously operated the town circular service. The Mercedes Sprinter based minibus previously used has been replaced by a small fleet of new and used Mercedes Sprinter based minibuses, for the new work taken on. RX70SCV is typical of these, and is seen leaving The Moor with a 69 service for Mylor Bridge in November 2021. On my previous visit to Falmouth First ran these local services with a mix of Solos and Darts.
