Akaroa November 1, 2015 Banks Peninsula New Zealand.
Akaroa is a small town on Banks Peninsula in the Canterbury region of the South Island of New Zealand, situated within a harbour of the same name. The name Akaroa is Kāi Tahu Māori for "Long Harbour", which would be spelled "Whangaroa" in standard Māori.
Looking up at bare trees against a blue sky. The fact that these trees are still so bare demonstrate just how late Spring is this year.
If one can't find anything interesting to photograph directly infront of them, changing POV and looking up will often provide a solution!
Two FA/18 Hornets are meeting at high speed, mid air, at the annual airshow, Orange County airport, Montgomerry, NY.
The chance to get them both, in thr same frame, with a handheld camera it is almost impossible, as they are coming close and at that speed (400mph) you miss at least one if not both.
I decided to pan with one of them shooting 10fps hoping the other one will be somewhere, in the frame in couple of seconds.
I forgot that the speed of the one on the left, will add to the speed of the other one coming from right, if my panning will make the plane on the left, the reference. The jet coming from left came nice and clear. The one coming from the right, seems too fast for my exposure of 1/3200s...
Locally known as the "Dirty Steps"
Meeting House Lane, Paisley.
Paisley (/ˈpeɪzli/; Scottish Gaelic: Pàislig) is the largest town in the historic county of Renfrewshire in the west central Lowlands of Scotland and serves as the administrative centre for the Renfrewshire council area. The town is situated on the northern edge of the Gleniffer Braes, straddling the banks of the White Cart Water, a tributary of the River Clyde.
The town, a former burgh, forms part of a contiguous urban area with Glasgow; Glasgow city centre is 6.9 miles (11.1 km) to the east. The town came to prominence with the establishment of Paisley Abbey in the 12th century, an important religious hub in medieval Scotland which formerly had control over the other churches in the local area. It is regularly cited as 'Scotland's largest town' as it has yet to attain official city status.
By the 19th century, Paisley had established itself as a centre of the weaving industry, giving its name to the Paisley shawl and the Paisley Pattern. The town's associations with political Radicalism were highlighted by its involvement in the Radical War of 1820, with striking weavers being instrumental in the protests. As of 1993, all of Paisley's mills had closed, although they are memorialised in the town's museums and civic history.
Paisley is bidding for UK City of Culture in 2021 as part of plans to use culture and heritage to help regenerate the town.

Memories of an autumn day, when I was busy shooting the cobwebs, and the curious animals were visiting. .

Finally had a chance to meet up with Bev (Hurricane_101). She was gracious enough to take time out to show me some of the sights around the Belaire and Wheeling areas. We had a fun time chasing trains and talking photos. This was taken outside the Toy Railroad Museum in Wheeling, WV.

So, I had a meeting in Cleethorpes - and because last night at 3am our parked car was basically written off by a drink driver outside our house, James drove me to the meeting across the Humber, with little Mabel in tow (because she's not very well)... and - while I was at the meeting (which lasted an epic amount of time) they went to the beach....
"Place of Meetings has been the most common reference for Toronto and I like how this particular spot showcased many of Toronto's tallest skyscrapers huddled together.
Have a good weekend:)
