This is apparently what happens when you're in such a hurry to change the film that you forget to reset the ISO from 25 to 100 on your light meter and start shooting anyway and then, when you try to scan it, have to resort to under exposing the scan by 3 stops.
I like it, all things considered, but you should have seen the colors that I lost. They were so beautiful...
Still, there's no way this amount of information would have been even available in a digital photograph under the same circumstances.
or
... I can't decide.
As I prepare for new adventures, I pause to contemplate the journey ahead.
This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss Distagon 1:4 f=50mm T* lens and Zenza Bronica L39ā¢3C(UV) filter using Kodak Portra 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For Summer has o'er-brimm'd their clammy cells. --To Autumn. by John Keats
