An afternoon stop on my way to North Conway in New Hampshire rewarded me with a tranquil view on Mount Chocorua, by the lake, named after this peak. I cannot tell what pleases me more: the subtlety of the autumn colors or the gesture of the birch, leaning toward the distant mountain.

One morning when the sky looked promising, I grabbed my gear and headed over to the Sunnyvale Community Center. One thing you can always count on here is a decent reflection. This spot is walking distance from my house and I often go here when the sky takes me by surprise. It was a colorful and intense dawn. I am hoping that we will get a few more mornings like this before the end of spring. Thanks for looking!
