Falling droplets of my inner tears
saturating wheels as they slowly spin
tinged brown, my hearts rusted gears
the corroding metal that turns within
Where minutes pass, can't be saved
as blood is clotting within my veins
the dial of dying love is engraved
onto my heart, where time reigns
Stopping my pulse, as hands stilled
the vessels of cerise blood drain
while chambers are vastly filled
with tear drops of my unwinding pain
Drowning the bearings, you tore apart
I murmur loves ticking sound
sink the key, to my mechanical heart
to never again be so blindly wound.

I have many other pics of Botz, too many to share here as I like to keep this stream varied somewhat. But I am so enamored with these guys that I set up a Facebook page dedicated to them. I invite you to visit and enjoy. Thank you for your support!
What a fantastical world are we now entering! Biology and mechanical engineering are combining to create what were science fiction miracles just a few years ago…

For Macro Mondays "Numbers" theme. A mechanical integrator is a complex device that was used to calculate ship's stability before digital computers became practical. The complete device is similar to this image: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mechanical_integrator_CHM...
The lens used was an old manual Zuiko 80mm f/4 macro on a sliding extension tube and micro 4/3's adapter, in spite of what the exif info states. Four Olympus high res shots were stacked in Photoshop. I would of liked to gotten one more but ran of focus adjustment.
Evidence of the 19th century mechanical age is all around inside the Henry Jones Art Hotel. This photo art is constructed by me using multiple exposures. If you enlarge it you can see the detail very clearly. Works like this are designed to be viewed as extremely large prints.
A new gift for me this year was this articulated lamp, of a guy playing the piano. It looks great on my piano and shines while I'm playing.
Dear friends
I would like to ask you to stop using emoji in comments. We are heading in the wrong direction. We will soon stop using words at all while I really appreciate them.
Respect my request please.
Looking close...on Friday: Erasers
Fresh out of the package, with erasers still as white as little marshmallows.
Think it may be a Stearman. Made several passes over my house through out the day. I like the old wind in your face and bugs in your mouth type planes!
Love is not mechanical and it can crumble from within over time, just like with the finest mechanics.
Waaaaaay back in the day Edward lost his left arm and it was replaced by a mechanical one (see bottom right). Back then it was one I made myself and I had to use invisiprims to hide the arm underneath.
Fast forward to the amazing results available with mesh and bento. This superb item was given away as a freebie at the Engine Room event by [ContraptioN] who have been creating amazing steampunk related stuff for years now.
