I've never felt comfortable showing myself off...I really don't have a good body image of myself. I don't know why I'm posting these, other than to try to ease this image....accept who I am, and go forward with my life.

I'M BACK!
After a long vacation for my RL, I'm back to work in SL. How I miss it!
Taking a time off was very good for me, because I'm back full of inspiration and ideas for new photos. YAY! Also enjoying new lighting and edition techniques.

Story behind this photo goes, I'm tired Joe and I did not snuggle up until 3:30am to fall asleep and I had treatment early that morning, so I was zonked to say the least. He gets up really early to go pick up his kids for a bit and comes home, sets them up with breakfast and crawls back in bed, how all of us do. We cuddle up and fall asleep and a few moments later I hear his bedroom door open and the kids gasping "there is a strange lady in bed with daddy!" I had hid under the sheets, that is like one of the things I don't like to happen but it's inevitable now, least I met them already LOL. Then they close the door and I hear them discussing how to find out if it's "me". They were convinced it was me but weren't sure and the little boy was like that HAS to be her. Least I felt a little reassured hah, bah. Anyway.. a few seconds later I felt a tug on my shirt sleeve that was hanging out of the covers and I peaked out to a 'IT IS YOU!!! HIIIIII, where are your boys?". After that I got them some drinks and set them up with a movie, sauntered back to bed. More cuddle time. Twenty minutes later little girl comes in and shows me something.
She drew this for me. I asked her who was who she said I was the girl on the right with the puppie an the other person was her mommy who has the kitten. Man that melted me big time! Then she was walking out of the door to go draw some more and she said the sweetest thing I have ever heard in my life.
I'll be back in a bit, I'm going to go draw the rain on here for you.

The only thing I always says follows me, makes things new and makes me feel alive. Sure she didn't "know" but that was a heck of a thing to have happen. The door shut behind her and I was just shocked and really happy. At least she likes me enough to draw me something so precious. Promised her I'd hang it on my fridge and get a photo of it for her. So I did, and I'll take it to her sometime soon with the kids and they can get to play and stuff. Up to Joe when that happens but my little one was really upset he was like "Joe said 5 days, it's been five days!" lol. Least they are both kinda liking one another.
How precious, my heart melted :)
Jus plain nosey. Joe snapped this for me. We spent the day at the river, listening to some bands and eating food and drinking smoothies. Then we went to see the movie "Ironman" . I really enjoyed it....: )

I snapped up the dress at the environmental club's clothing exchange, even though I already have one that's almost exactly like it. This one feels more simple & sophisticated. I like it a lot. And it's soooo soft.

i've always loved this school picture, because I actually had a broken arm -- I wanted my picture taken with the sling around my neck, but the photographer insisted not!
I have stuck in many people's memory from that year in school, because I actually broke BOTH arms, sequentially (not at the same time) -- first one I fell down on the school playground at a parent-teacher conference night -- skinned my knee & didn't even notice my arm, til the next morning when mom decided I was holding my arm strangely and asked if I could rotate my wrist -- I looked blankly at her and said, "no, why?" so I'd fractured my right wrist -- spent six weeks in a sling, and then the day after I got it off, I fell down rollerskating and broke my left arm.
yes, i am clumsy.
my grandmother crocheted that dress for me -- my sister had one with a sort of raspberry color instead of the green.

As I was walking around the rose garden I almost ran in to this spider, made me think he was trying to string me along. :)

Calamón común a la fuga, salió a darse su vuelta matutina, tan temprano que aún no daba el sol en este rincón de la charca, en la otra orilla apareció otro ejemplar, y sin mediar cacareo alguno, salió disparado a su busca hasta meterse los dos en las aneas de la orilla. Me costó pillarlo porque había palos en medio, casi se me sale del encuadre pero al final no me desagrada el rastro que deja en el agua y que equilibra un poco la rara composición que quedó.
También es cierto que me quedé algo corto con la velocidad de obturación.

Está muy recortada pero me ha hecho ilusión pillar esta especie aunque sea invasora, porque es un ave preciosa. Las había visto en diciembre con muy poca luz y creí que estarían de paso, pero hoy las he vuelto a ver en la misma zona.
