Just like the daylight that fades away at the end of each day, I too fade away & disappear.
We were playing around and experimenting with long exposures last night on the beach.

The Lesser Flamingo (Phoenicoparrus minor) is a species of flamingo occurring in sub-Saharan Africa.
Lesser flamingos do not migrate and they live in big colonies with sometimes more than 1 million birds. They are mostly active at night. They fly between water bodies in large, V-shaped formations when food sources have become depleted. Even when food is plentiful, flocks may sometimes fly between water sources during the day. Lesser flamingos have no sense of smell and not much sense of taste. Eyesight is important for group activities. They flash their wing's back feathers to communicate. Hearing also plays an important role in communication both between adults and for chicks and parents. The adults are able to identify their offspring through its sounds. These birds often form subgroups within larger groups.
These beautiful flamingo, busy feeding at sunrise was captured during a photography safari on an early morning game drive along the shores of the swamps in Amboseli National Park, Kenya.

2- Sono cresciuta in un piccolo paese sulle colline emiliane, tra Piacenza e Parma. Mia mamma è siciliana, e mi reputo molto fortunata perchè adoro quest'isola, che io considero la mia vera terra!
I grew up in a little village on the hills, between the towns of Piacenza and Parma. My mother is from Sicily, and I think I’m very lucky because I love this island, which I consider my real country!
3- Ora, da qualche mese, vivo da sola in provincia di Reggio Emilia, dove lavoro come ingegnere (che parolone!!:-) ) in un'impresa di costruzioni. Per ora non sono ancora scappata, quindi direi che va tutto bene!
I live since some months in province of Reggio Emilia, where I work as eingeneer (this word is too much maybe!!:-) ) in a construction company.
4- Sono molto golosa, soprattutto di dolci! Penso che prima o poi mi verrà il diabete!
I am very greedy, I expecially like candies! I think I’ll become diabetic sooner or later!
5- Adoro la pallavolo, anche se per questioni di lavoro ho dovuto abbandonare la mia squadra in cui giocavo da 15 anni e forse più! Ma mi piace lo sport in generale, ho scoperto di amare lo snowboard!
I love volleyball, even if I was forced to leave the team I had been playing for 15 years and more because of my job! But I like all sports, I recently discovered snowboard!
6- Quando mi alzo alla mattina e apro la finestra, quello che vedo, spesso, è solo nebbia, ma io amo il mare, l'estate e il sole! Il mio sogno è aprire un bar in un'isola al caldo e nel frattempo dedicarmi alla fotografia e vendere le mie foto.
When I wake up in the morning and open the window, all I see is often just fog, but I love the sea, the summer and the sun! I wonder to open a bar on an island where the weather is always good and to dedicate to photography, and to sell my pictures.

8- Amo viaggiare, fino ad ora ho viaggiato molto in Italia e solo in Europa, e i posti che mi sono rimasti nel cuore sono Palermo e l'isola di Ios.
I love travelling, by now I travelled a lot in Italy and just in Europe, and the places I liked the most are Palermo and the Ios island.
9- Adoro i gatti, li adoro proprio, ma ovviamente proprio io devo essere allergica al loro pelo e così quando ne vedo uno mi devo limitare solo a fargli una foto!
I love cats, I really adore them, but obviously I have an allergy related to their hair, so when I see one I just can take a picture of it!
10- Passo molto tempo a leggere, (in questo periodo ho la Harry Potter mania, e anche se può sembrare infantile, devo dire, anche ai più scettici (come ero io) che è una droga! se volete salvarvi non iniziate!)
I spend a lot of time reading (in this period I have the Harry Potter mania, and even if you could say it’s ingenuous, I must reply to skeptics (as I was) that it’s a drug! Don’t start reading if you want to live!)
11- Ho quasi sempre lo stereo acceso, amo la musica, i miei due gruppi preferiti (Shandon e Kemury) si sono sciolti, ma non dite che porto sfiga!
My hi-fi is always on, I love music. The two bands I love at most broke-up (Shandon and Kemury) but don’t you say I jinx!
12- Ho sempre con me la mia macchinetta e spero di farvi piacere con le mie foto! Non mi muovo da casa se non posso portarmela dietro! é con me anche al lavoro, e quando fuori dalla finestra c'è un bel tramonto almeno ho i mezzi per immortalarlo.
I always have my camera with me and I hope to bring you pleasure with my pictures! I can’t get out if I can’t bring it with me! It’s in my bag even at work, so that when out of the window I see a nice sunset I have something to catch it.
13- Non mi vesto mai di nero, ma ho sempre vestiti colorati! Adoro l'azzurro e il viola!
I never wear black, but I have always colours on! I love light blue and violet!
14- La cosa che bevo più volentieri è il cappuccino con la panna montata sopra, che in estate, quando sono in sicilia si tramuta in una bella granita al caffè con la panna! La cosa che mangio più volentieri sono le patatine fritte!
My preferred drink is cappuccino with whipped cream on it, and in summer, when I’m in Sicily, it becomes a great “granita al caffè con panna”, something like an ice cream coffee-taste! My preferred meat are fried potatoes!
15- Questa estate voglio fare il tour dell'Andalusia. Ma il mio prossimo viaggio sarà a Londra.
Next summer I’d like to do a tour in Andalusia. But my next trip will be to London.
