Not quite. Max is a good climber, too, but not as good as "Monkey Boy" Nathan Rome. I think Max could've climbed it OK, but he's just a little too short. Eventually, we figured out a good system. Max would reach a staple with his hand just barely, and as he pulled himself up I leaned back on my belay line to help just a little bit. He eventually made it up twice to zip, and he loved it!

Seit 1963 war die 6. Polytechnische Oberschule (POS) hier ansässig, deren Räumlichkeiten ab dem 10. August 1992 im Filialbetrieb als Oberstufenzentrum genutzt wurden.
Die Gründung des "Oberstufenzentrum Versorgungs- und Reinigungstechnik" folgte am 1. August 1994, die Namensgebung zur "Max-Taut-Schule" am 29. August 1997.

Today, I went over to Max Turner's house to meet him, and look at his artwork. If I wasn't so tired and hungry, and if there wasn't outside stress, it would have been a perfect day. But we talked serious art talk, and it made my weekend. When someone says he was raised in the 1930's, and then after WWII... you know you're in for some good stories and great advice.
Max Herre mit seiner Mischung aus Folk und Soul begeisterte das Publikum. Mit im Gepäck hatte er nebst den Songs von seinem aktuellen Album, Ein geschenkter Tag, natuerlich auch einge Klassiker aus den Zeiten von Freundeskreis.

KAHRER, Max
Lanschaftsmaler. Geboren am 8.Juli 1878 in Temesvar in Rumänien als Sohn eines Deutschen, gestorben am 5. Oktober 1937 in Klosterneuburg. Er besuchte vier Jahre die Wiener Akademie unter Franz Rumpler und war dann in den Jahren 1913/14 in München und in Folge in Klosterneuburg tätig. Dort gründete er die Künstlervereinigung, deren Vorsitz er zeitweilig führte. Er malte anfänglich äußerst kräftig, aber grell in der Farbe, Landschaften aus dem Hochgebirge und von Ufern der oberösterreichischen und bayrischen Seen. Später malte er in den Donaugegenden, deren Schönheit er in der Wiedergabe der Atmosphärischen fand. Von 1905 bis 1906 Mitglied des Hagenbundes.
