The MGA Heritage unit on the point of NS 26E is cooling its heels in the interlocking at 286 with their eyes on the red signals at 285 while they wait for NS 206 to overtake them on main 1. Friday( in the middle of lots of other bad things), I took Dan to the pet hospital for a growth on this leg.

Sam and Dan had been out playing and during that play they got the growth bleeding, which scared James as Sam came in with blood on his face and Dan had blood down his leg. After cleaning it up, we decided the growth needed some looking over by the vet.

The vet thinks its a Histiocytoma . She took a biopsy of it to make sure it wasn't something else. Then she wrapped it with a cute red bandage to match his harness.

We should be hearing back Monday on what it is and where we take it from here.

...this one I shot from the hip. I was pleased to see later that I'd managed to get the shiny red hair in the shot...

CSO-4 makes its usual lunchtime departure from Springfield, as seen through the hole in the fence on an overpass. (No, I didn't cut the hole!)

A pair of clean, matching GP38s provide the muscle this day, *almost* making observers think that GWI actually cares about its image. I still say they both looked better in NECR Blue & Gold.

She bought shoes that match Doris....

For some reason, this song springs to mind:

Colmar, Alsace, France during Easter

Spent the weekend with my parents visiting various cities and towns south of Strasbourg. Colmar was still decorated for Easter, only adding to the already incredible colors of the town. I walked by this woman on the way to Petite Venice walking her dog, perfectly matching the colors of the building she stood in front of, and inexplicably next to a wheel chair.

I always said I'd never dress the girls in matching clothes like mum did, but apart from it stopping any fights from starting I now secretly think it's a bit cute! Looking at them the other day definitely reminded me of my sister & I when we were younger! I feel a bit bad now for paying mum out all these years over dressing us the same!

The origins of the functional looking RLs go back to a fleeting brain fart by Morrison Knudsen Australia in 1994, that then took another ten years to materialise into something quite different under the auspices of National Railway Equipment Company (NREC).
