Our final MADEIRADiG Festival kicked off on end of November 2024 with Polish guitar mastermind Raphael Rogiński at the John Dos Passos Cultural Centre in Ponta do Sol, and ended there one week later with a intimate concert by Scottish bagpiper Brìghde Chaimbeul.
In between we saw great shows at MUDAS with concerts by Ukrainian-born sound artist Heinali, Norwegian saxophonist Bendik Giske, Berlin-based experimental trio Contagious, American guitarist David Grubbs, British electronic musician Nik Cold Void together with digital artist MAOTIK, Portuguese pianist Simão Costa, San Francisco-based noise experimentalist Evicshen and multi-talented turntablist NikNak.
